Chirac demande une enquête préliminaire sur les propos de Faurisson à Téhéran

PARIS, 15 déc 2006, AFP: Le président Jacques Chirac a demandé l'ouverture d'une "enquête préliminaire", à la suite des propos tenus par le négationniste Robert Faurisson dans le cadre de la conférence de Téhéran sur l'Holocauste, a annoncé l'Elysée vendredi dans un communiqué. "Le président de la République demande au Garde des Sceaux de faire diligenter une enquête préliminaire, suite aux propos tenus par Robert Faurisson à Téhéran lors d'une conférence mettant en cause la réalité de la Shoah", indique le communiqué.  L'ex-professeur de littérature Robert Faurisson a participé lundi et mardi dans la capitale iranienne à une conférence mettant en cause la réalité de l'Holocauste, qui a suscité une condamnation unanime dans le monde, à commencer par celle des chefs de gouvernement israélien et allemand.

Paris, 15 December 2006, AFP: On Friday the l'Elysée issued a communiqué stating that President Chirac has asked for a preliminary enquiry to be opened following the statements made by negationist Robert Faurisson at the Tehran conference on the 'Holocaust'. "The president of the Republic has asked the Justice Minister to order a preliminary enquiry following the statements made by Robert Faurisson in Tehran at a conference questioning the reality of 'Shoah'." Ex-literature professor Robert Faurisson participated on Monday and Tuesday at the Tehran Holocaust' conference questioning the reality of the 'Holocaust', which triggered a world-wide unanimous condemnation begun by the German and Israeli heads of state - in Berlin.
