Food for Thought

Isn't it about time that the federal parliament gave up harbouring international fugitives?

Well alright, I'll 'out' a couple and see if you can spot the rest.. 

No, Abbott and Costello don't qualify.  They're not fugitives, just dead comedians.  

Okay, For years Lee Harvey Oswald has been masquerading as Bob Brown and more recently Andrew Bartlett has been pretending that he's not Osama bin Laden.  Come on Andrew, the western style suit and the neatly trimmed beard aren't fooling anyone.

  Besides, last week's act of 'jeanniecide' against Senator Ferris was a dead giveaway.  

Perhaps someone should do the whole country a favour and let the US. know who's been hiding where and with a bit of luck they might pop over and bomb it to the ground.  (and preferably during a joint sitting for good measure)

An act of genocide in the Senate

Poor Jeannie Ferris.  Scalding tears splash onto my keyboard as I recall the horrendous, if not mind scarring television images of the unmitigated courage with which this Jeanne d’Arc of a Senator withstood a psychopathic assault upon her body, mind and spirit by the clearly deranged Andrew Bartlett, leader of The Australian Fence Sitting Party.

To those of you who think you might have seen Andrew simply following Jeannie across the floor and saying to her  ‘…excuse me, but I was talking to you.’ And then tapping her gently on the shoulder,let me say this. Things these days are seldom as simple as they might at first appear. For example, given that the finger is an instrument of sexual penetration, the tap on the shoulder was as clear-cut a case of attempted rape as you’d ever care to see. And then of course, that same finger in the company of three others and a thumb make up the component parts of a fist, so if the demented Democrat had been more in control of his faculties, he could just as easily delivered a withering blow to his victim’s head.  And some of you bleeding hearts out there still think that this excuse for a man doesn’t belong in a prison shower block desperately clutching hold of the slipperiest cake of soap known to science.

On a more sombre note though, the truly insidious motive behind this parliamentary pogrom, is the will to eradicate (through fear) all members of genus femina from the corridors of power. That’s right, the genocide of women!!  Andrew mate, what could you have been thinking?   Do you have delusional ideas of being a Reichfuhrer, an Idi Amin, a Pol Pot, a Captain Cook?  Are you the anti-christ himself?

Forget 911.  Forget Bali,  (Apart from the two men looking like identical twins,isn’t the name Andrew Bartlett an anagram of Osama Bin Laden?) for the icy finger of terrorism has arrived in our very midst leaving us no other recourse in the logic of our times, than to invade North Korea without delay.
