La Troisième Conférence Internationale Révisionniste en Italie a eu lieu

Conformément à ce qu’elle avait annoncé depuis plusieurs mois, l’association culturelle Nuovo Ordine Europeo a tenu la troisième conférence internationale révisionniste en Italie le samedi 14 décembre, dans la ville de Pordenone (Frioul), sur le thème « En Mémoire des millions de victimes civiles des Démocraties et de leurs mensonges ». Les travaux ont été présentés par Guillaume Fabien, directeur de l’association, qui a souligné l’importance prédominante du mensonge en politique étrangère comme en histoire.

L’avocat et écrivain politique Edoardo Longo, lui-même de Pordenone, a pris la parole le premier pour expliquer comment les atteintes à la liberté d’expression sont devenues de plus en plus fréquentes en Italie, grâce en bonne partie à une magistrature aux ordres du lobby-qui-n’existe-pas mais dont les méthodes remontent au temps de Shylock et avant. Ici comme presque partout dans le monde blanc, des mesures tyranniques se répandent pour neutraliser quiconque est soupçonné de « racisme », et l’on s’attend à ce que la loi qui pénalise ce phénomène supposé dangereux pour la société soit bientôt appliquée contre le révisionnisme historique.

Le professeur Vincent Reynouard, Français exilé en Belgique suite à de lourdes condamnations pour ses écrits et connu dans toute l’Europe pour ses ouvrages, a développé le thème du colloque, fournissant des chiffres et de nombreux éléments documentaires sur la politique des bombardements de masse conçue et pratiquée par les Anglo-Américains contre les populations des grandes villes. En effet, bien avant le déclenchement de la seconde guerre mondiale, et bien avant que leur adversaire désigné, l’Allemagne, ne possède un seul bombardier, les démocrates anglophones envisageaient la généralisation du bombardement aérien, jusque là destiné aux cibles militaires, comme moyen de détruire non plus seulement l’appareil d’armement, mais bien l’économie de pays entiers. Au cours du conflit de 1939-1945 ils ont fini par opter pour une forme de guerre d’une barbarie inouïe, ahurissante : le bombardement massif et systématique des quartiers les plus densément peuplés. Et, prétendent-ils encore, cela fut justifié, car tout était bon pour arrêter la « barbarie nazie ».

Le révisionniste allemand Professeur Udo Walendy, 75 ans, a parlé principalement de ses déboires avec la justice de son pays. Celle-ci le harcèle depuis près de quarante ans, afin de l’empêcher de faire connaître les fruits de ses recherches historiographiques ayant trait tant aux responsabilités de la dernière guerre qu’au prétendu « Holocauste » des juifs d’Europe ; il y a peu de temps il a été emprisonné pendant plus de deux ans pour des écrits qu’il n’avait même pas publiés. L’ensemble du stock de plusieurs livraisons de la revue qu’il éditait autrefois avait été confisqué par la police, sans explication, car on y trouvait tout simplement des affirmations, pourtant toujours fondées sur des documents, qui dérangeaient les courbes fonctionnaires de la RFA. Mais son grand livre Vérité pour l’Allemagne : Hitler n’a pas voulu la guerre, d’une documentation riche et approfondie, est désormais autorisé en Allemagne, et une traduction italienne fera bientôt suite aux éditions anglaise et française.

Enfin est intervenu le Dr Fredrick Toben, responsable de l’Adelaide Institute (Australie), qui a été lui-même récemment contraint par un « tribunal des droits de l’homme » à supprimer de son site Internet certains textes qui pouvaient, selon les juges, offenser les sensibilités des gens qui croient en l’« Holocauste ». Et peu importe que les textes en question disent vrai ou faux : en effet, pour ces instances de création récente qui veillent au maintien de la « correction politique » la vérité ne constitue pas un moyen de défense. Ainsi la justice même, pilier de notre civilisation dont le fondement a toujours été le respect pour la vérité, se voit dénaturée car c’est désormais le respect pour le nouveau mythe de l’« Holocauste » des juifs qui prime.

Toben a d’ailleurs soutenu que la « guerre au terrorisme » actuellement menée sur une échelle mondiale n’est qu’un prétexte pour réprimer voire pénaliser toute expression d’opinion qui déplaît à la superpuissance américano-sioniste. Pourtant l’avenir de cette dernière s’annonce plus sombre qu’on pourrait le croire, puisque les jours du mythe dans lequel elle puise ses forces, celui de l’« Holocauste », sont comptés, grâce notamment a de récents travaux d’ordre technique et scientifique destinés à appuyer encore les affirmations des « négateurs » de ce qui n’a jamais eu lieu dans les camps de concentration du Troisième Reich.

Malgré les pressions exercées ouvertement sur le gouvernement italien, au plus flagrant mépris pour la liberté d’expression, par les officines éhontées dites « Centres Wiesenthal », aucun incident n’est survenu pour entraver le déroulement de cette conférence, qui s’est tenue de 14 heures à 19 heures dans la salle de réunion d’un hôtel : il est vrai que le lieu n’avait été indiqué à l’avance qu’à un nombre très restreint de personnes, afin d’éviter que les ennemis de la libre recherche enregistrent un succès comparable à celui qu'ils ont malheureusement obtenu il y a deux mois à Vérone.

À quand une loi qui réprimerait l’incitation aux atteintes à la liberté d’expression et de rassemblement ?

A Third International Revisionist Conference
Has been Held in Italy

As announced over the previous months, the cultural association Nuovo Ordine Europeo of Trieste has held a third international revisionist conference in Italy. The event took place on Saturday December 14, in the town of Pordenone (Friuli region), on the theme "In Memory of the millions of civilian victims of the Democracies and their lies". The programme was presented by the N.O.E.’s director, Mr Guillaume Fabien, who stressed the predominant importance of the lie in international politics and in the conventional presentation of history.

In spite of the pressures exerted on the Italian government, in open contempt for the freedom of speech, by the loathsome circle of agitators known as the "Wiesenthal Centers", there occurred no incident to hinder the peaceful holding of this conference from 2 pm to 7 pm in the conference hall of a hotel: it is true that the address had been indicated in advance only to a restricted number of people, in order to prevent the enemies of free historical research from registering a success like that which they obtained two months ago in Verona.

When shall we see a law against incitement to violate the freedom of expression and assembly?

De-briefing

Although only 18 people in total attended the conference, it is felt it was success, even if only for the fact that it took place. Rabbi Cooper's attempt at having another Beirut-style government intervention failed. The Italian government has remained strong and stood above the Jewish threats.

In this context I note that the Vatican also stood its ground and refused to subject itself to Jewish blackmail by refusing to pay money to the Jewish group making a claim on the Catholic Church. The Vatican also refused to open its archives. So, all in all, the Vatican refused to bend to Jewish pressure - and that is good.

I do not think it is too far fetched to conclude that the consequence of such courageous stand against the world Jewish lobby and its extortion racket resulted in Goldhagen writing a book about the Catholic Church, and saw the sexual child abuse cases gain in prominence. Sydney's Archbishop Pell had to defend himself against a charge that was over 30 years old - all very much like the war crimes trials that Jewish groups were instrumental in activating.

A Detour
Have you ever heard or read about any Revisionist physically harming anybody? Of course not. But that is exactly the message sent by the haters and those with a feverish mind who wish to twist the truth in this battle of the wills, such as the good Rabbi Cooper in LA. This liar and slave of falseness wishes to convey to the unsuspecting public that anti-Revisionists, such as he, with his slimy rhetoric is telling the truth.
Thanks to the Internet, individuals now can find out for themselves who is violent, who is open-minded, who is biased, prejudiced and hateful - who is a deceiver and liar for the sake of making a fast buck!

The control-freaks, who wish to mediate information to the innocent, to the trusting, are now literally 'stuffed up' and caught up in their own scheme of things. They have to stand up and answer questions, often - hopefully - most uncomfortable questions.

For some it is a delicious irony that the President of the United States of America has dusted off Dr Henry Kissinger and who is now again paraded on the world stage. This very act tells us more about the current mindset operating within the US Washington presidency than would a dozen thoughtful essays on the topic, including the diatribe from Christopher Hitchens and his labelling Kissinger a 'war criminal'

This fellow Hitchens, by the way, since his self-confessed claim to Jewishness, seems to be groping for that slot within world discourse that prevents him from making some sound moral commitment. His shut-up word is 'fascism', that serves him well at a moment when self-reflection would yield much more truth-content than a reliance on such discussion blocking mechanism. That is his weakness now - and perhaps also, so I have been advised, his reliance upon the consumption of too much heavy water.

All Hitchens' articles are thus somewhat flawed because they rest on the blurred premise of the them-us dichotomy, which states that Hitchens is good because he has the gift to spy out the them, the enemy that he calls 'fascists'.

The battle here is, of course, between the particular and the universal. Being 'Jewish' enables Hitchens to avoid connecting to the particular, for example the nation, the state, the community. I would advise him to again listen and experience Beethoven's Ninth Symphony where Schiller's Ode To Joy resolves this dilemma by advocating universal brotherhood, but then reminding us that we can only love a particular individual. The current crop of stragglers and tail-enders of the followers of Marxism have to this day not grasped and learned that fact of life.

There are those who cannot accept the tensions that this dichotomy produces. They then fall into the them-us mindset, and worse, into the master-servant category. Naturally they wish to inform others that they, Hitchens for example, are the masters over you, the slave.

All very sad and emotionally and mentally rather limiting our own appreciation of our manifold human condition.

I am now reminded of my own much-quoted phrase: talk is cheap! Hence, have a look at the following item. Isn't it hitting home the point as to why US-Israel wishes to have a war with Iraq?

Money certainly impresses the materialists, the seemingly socially and psychologically insecure. Don't we all have our price at which we yield to temptation - and fly off to a conference?

Yet I have this nagging doubt that even the young individuals who are just leaving their comfortable, or even non-existent, nests at home, will still listen to that inner voice of reason, trust and love that guides most of us throughout life. No doubt there are those who wish to balance the equation of love and power, as attempted by Wagner in his Operas.

Those who have already been hurt and abused (those who let themselves be abused may be a harsh but kinder statement to make) will mature and realize that such is life. A constant playing the victim cannot ultimately satisfy - unless it ensures a continuing flow of money, so it seems.

A criminal lawyer who will address the limitations imposed on free speech in Italy.

A maths and science teacher who lost his job because of his politically incorrect views of history. He has focused his talk on the targeted bombing of civilians during World War Two.

Udo Walendy — Germany

Author of Germany in Flames, the definitive book about the untold story of the German saturation bombing and its devastating impact on German life. Walendy is best known for having elicited from a sentencing judge the statement that he, Walendy, is going to prison for the things he did not write. It highlights the absurdity of pushing the concept inciting to the limits where thoughts are criminalised. To date the Anglo-Saxon common law principle of Natural Justice, and the differentiation of physical and mental incitement, save us from such German nonsense judgments. But for how long? The current feeding frenzy surrounding the battle for Iraq's oil has begun to blur this distinction. The US, and other common law countries, is moving its legal framework closer to the European model where thoughts are proscribed.

It needs to be remembered that Italy for the Revisionists is virgin territory. The fact that one of the world's leading Auschwitz researchers, Carlo Mattogno, lives in Rome is a bit of an embarrassment because this man sits in his ivory tower, far away from the Battle Front. He does the right thing by his wife and children - and does not attend conferences. Some think such behaviour is the hallmark of intellectual activity!

The average Italian citizen knows nothing of Revisionism. Yesterday we met a group of architect students doing some tape-measuring within a footpath-building complex. I asked them whether they were aware of one of the new most important architectural structures the world has ever seen. Blank faces led me to continue elaborating how van Pelt has claimed Krema II at Auschwitz-Birkenau to be an example of the latest architectural structure that students must be familiar with - because it is absolute ground zero of evil!

Now, Mattogno sitting at home in Rome, muses to himself when he sees someone like German 70-year-old Fritjof Meyer decommissioning Auschwitz-Birkenau as having had homicidal gas chambers, then attempting to locate the actual gassing sites outside the camp itself, at two farm houses that, Meyer claims, have only recently been 'discovered'.

Poor Meyer. He is aware of Mattogno's and Graf's works, yet perhaps has not reflected enough on it to realize that Mattogno will now ambush him with that nonsense claim, which was also made by David Irving during his 2000 London trial, that 'limited gassings' occurred in these two farm houses - or sheds, rather. That Irving fell in line with this 'stupid' view, as Faurisson would call it, indicates for some that Irving is not interested in settling the Auschwitz story once and for all. It appears he wishes to retain that so-called, but rather elusive, quality of respectability - admiration from one's peers! It appears to me a nonsense claim that Irving has now become 'kosher'.

I would be the last to condemn anyone for not recognizing their own blind spot.

The consequence of Meyer's article is that the 20 plaques at Auschwitz-Birkenau will again have to be removed and the figure on them altered. Last time in 1989 the four million was replaced by the 1-1½ million figure. Now the new figure is below half a million. Will this also reduce the 6 million count. I think not. For some, there is black magic in numbers.

Others, who care for truth in history, etc. will find Bruno Montoriol's 358-page privately published book of interest. Unfortunately it is in German and is not available through the book trade. The title is Die Lüge Spricht Zwanzig Sprachen, and in painful detail each of the twenty chapters begins with a photograph of the plaque with the inscription in one of the twenty languages [English, Ukrainian, Serbian, Slovakian, Rumanian, Romany, Russian, Polish, Norwegian, Dutch, Hungarian, Yiddish, Italian, Croatian, Hebrew, Greek, French, German, Czech, Belarus] that had the four million death figure on them before being removed when the four million figure was reduced to 1-1½ million. This is one of the hottest underground books on Auschwitz, and although it is currently out of print, it is hoped that the author will produce a second edition, especially in light of the Meyer revelations.

Comfort for the Revisionists who despair that there does not seem to be any progress in breaking this taboo topic.

Good news from the Trieste Battlefront: The hotel where the conference will be held tomorrow initially cancelled the venue owing to an electrical fault in some wiring. A letter from a lawyer on behalf of the organisers of the conference has had its effect. The hotel now advises that it has fixed the electrical fault and that there is now no fire danger anymore. But the other two alternate venues will remain on stand-by, just in case.

Today's Triesto Oggi triestooggi@libero.it featured the following at page 7. It states, 'What fascist meeting!'
«Ma quale convegno fascista!»
(p.r.) «Il nostro son sarà un "convegno fascista", come ha scritto qualcuno, ma una conferenza internazionale su tematiche storiche alla quale parteciperanno liberi ricercatori spesso perseguitati per le loro idee».

Così l'attivista del centro studi Nuovo Ordine Europeo Elena Nichols, che sta organizzando l'incontro previsto per domani «in una città - spiega - non lontana da Trieste», replica a chi ha tentato di screditare l'iniziativa. This morning I thought of Fred Leuchter because some years ago he received an invitation from a German television station to appear live on a program. He accepted the invitation, then was arrested in the studio, and subsequently spent time in Mannheim prison before being allowed to 'escape' and flee back to the US.

Naturally, the public prosecutor tells a different story, emphasizing that Leuchter ran away from lawful custody. That is just another myth because I heard a different story from a gentleman in the prison who was actually involved in looking after Leuchter there.

I need not labour the point about my own visit to that establishment in 1999.

So, when I was invited to the Antenna 3 studios in Trieste to discuss my contribution to the forthcoming Revisionist conference, I briefly hesitated and reflected on the possibility of my not walking out of that studio a free man.

My fears were unfounded - but whether the 15-minute interview will be screened, remains in the hands of the gods who need to weigh up whether they wish to 'offend' the sizeable Trieste Jewish community. It is about 13 thousand and is believed to be the third largest in Italy, after Rome and Milan, though some would dispute the rank and place Trieste in second place.

Then there was another incident. I had checked my hand luggage from Harare through to Johannesburg, London, Barcelona and Venice. In the latter sector we experienced a two-hour delay, but my hosts remained at Venice and we had no problem travelling on from there to Trieste.

Once nested in to my lovely bed in which I could spread my legs leisurely at will, I checked my bag and found my mobile phone missing out of its pouch. Somewhere it had disappeared out of my bag. As it is not usable overseas, and as I use it as my alarm clock, I didn't really miss it. Still, it is a loss.

And so my hosts and I visited the local office of the Regione Carabinierei Friuli - Venezia Guiulia. There I made my report, and worrying about losing my no claim insurance bonus, I asked whether I could proceed against Iberia or British Air. The gentleman, a most refined young man, advised me that I could be liable to a lawsuit if I insinuated that either of those airlines who had carried my bag, had any part to play in the loss of my mobile phone. Hence the loss is reported as against unknown persons, and I shall have to make a claim on my insurance.

I was impressed by the tidy uniforms worn by these fellows - and smart they were!

So, today I made my visit and managed to return safely back to base.

Both local newspapers, Trieste Oggi and Il Piccolo, carried items about the forthcoming conference.

In Today's Il Piccolo, we read the following:

“L’incontro – si legge in un comunicato – è dedicato alla memoria dei milioni di vittime civili delle democrazie”.

Ma dove? “Avrà luogo – scrivono i responsabili – a Padova. Ma l’indirizzo esatto sarà annunciato in seguito”. I relatori sono il tedesco Udo Walendy, autore del libro “Verità per la Germania: Hitler non voleva la guerra”, l’australiano Fredrick Toben, il belga Vincent Reynouard e l’italiano Edoardo Longo.

Eppure non più tardi di una settimana fa a Trieste il professor Nichols Guillaume e sua moglie Elena Nicole, animatori del «Centro Studi Nuovo ordine Europeo» di Via Navali 35, avevano pubblicamente negato di avere in programma per dicembre qualsiasi manifestazione, pubblica o privata. E invece c’è stato un contrordine. O meglio un ripensamento. Il convegno fascista ci sarà.

Greetings from Italy

Dear Supporters

So far things have gone well - nothing happened to me at London's Heathrow. When Canadian free speech advocate Paul Fromm arrived at the airport and decided to spend a couple of days in London before venturing forth to the May 2002 Triest conference, he spent a while in a little room being questioned by some gentlemen who considered him to be a security risk.

Rabbi Cooper's hate campaign is running at full steam. The fact that he attempts to link Revisionism with terrorism is indicative of his desperation. The act of bluff continues and we shall know whether fear of fear is for Italian politicians a reality .Will the Italian government bend to the Zionist pressure, as did the Lebanese government? We will know shortly.

When I met Cooper in April 1997 it seemed to me that he had a cool mind that knew it was supporting a massive historical lie. Now this mind has become fully feverish - and superstition and baseness have shrouded it, thereby blinding it to the liberating forces of timeless moral values contained within the concepts of truth, honour and justice.

Rabbi Cooper's mind is now driven by hatred for those things moral, those things good, clean and wholesome. He thrives on scapegoating and persecuting, using the worn-out shut-up words of 'hate speech', 'Holocaust denial', 'antisemtism', 'racism', '

neo-Nazism' and 'xenophobia'.

Of course, the good Rabbi is himself a racist because he supports the Zionist, apartheid, racist state of Israel! The fact that Jews are not a race is a great concern for the good Rabbi because he would have to give up his lucrative 'Holocaust' protection racket and find his way back to a wholesome worship of God.

Cooper is confused about the facts of the conference, but his 'Wille zur macht' - will to power - is great, and he is determined to have his way. Will he succeed in preventing this conference from going ahead?

Already the owners have cancelled the conference venue on account of some electrical fault that cannot be repaired before this coming Saturday. But that's a lame excuse.

The important fact for me is that this meeting is legal on Italian territory - and that is good because the enemy may then be forced to break the law to prevent free speech from winning the battle against totalitarianism. Someone reminded me that those countries with so-called anti-Revisionist laws would consider my presence here as an act of war, likening my words as if I were shouldering a bazooka and aiming shots into their territory.

The conference will go ahead because alternate venues have been made available.

European Union working on legislation to fight anti-Semitism | MATTHEW GUTMAN

The European Union is working on new legislation that would crack down on
anti-Semitism across Europe as part of its incorporation of 10 new members
to its body by 2004, said Ambassador Miguel Angel Moratinos, Special
Representative of the EU to the Middle East Peace Process.

Speaking on Monday at a Tel Aviv University conference entitled
"Europe-Israel: A Troubled Relationship," Moratinos also expressed
consternation at "the growing wave of anti-Europe feeling in Israel."

When Europe criticizes Israel, demanding a two-state solution, or
condemning its settlement policy, it is not done to hurt Israel but to help
it achieve peace, the ambassador added.

The conference took place in the shadow of what appear to be souring
Israeli-European relations, due to what Israeli diplomats consider the
increasingly critical eye with which Europe views Israel, and punctuated by
Friday's killing of a British UNRWA official in Jenin.

Moratinos did not elaborate on the EU's anti-Semitism legislation plans,
but Giancarlo Chevallard, EU Ambassador to Israel, speaking on Sunday,
tried to
downplay the deteriorating ties. He noted with some pride that no European
country believes that Israel does not have a right to exist. While he said
that Europe understands the imperative to fight terrorism, and appreciates
its relations with Israel, Chevallard chastised Israel for a spotty human
rights record.

"We believe that Israel, as part of the Western world, needs to practice
basic behavior in terms of human rights and human dignity," he said.
Chevallard also insinuated that Israel works too hard, yielding only
negative results, in its attempts to thwart EU aid to the Palestinians.

"I find it hard to believe that we harm Israeli security by providing aid
to the Palestinians" and thus "protecting them from more frustration and
eventual violence [against Israel]," he said. Knesset Speaker MK Avraham
Burg, who spoke prior to Chevallard, decried Israel's decline in trade with
Europe. That Israeli exports to Europe slipped by over 25 percent in the
past year, said Burg, may not have anything to do with an official boycott
of Israeli goods by the EU, but it does directly correlate to the European
"everyman's" view of the situation, saying that if the "European everyman
refuses to buy products labeled 'Made in Israel,' then the everyman in
Israel will not have work."

However, Burg was not necessarily angered by what diplomats consider
Europe's constant political sniping at Israel. He said that he takes
Israel's prominence in the heart and mind of its neighbor, Europe, as a
compliment.

Europe's "great expectations" of Israel in terms of morality and human
rights "shows that we can and should do better, and that we should be a
moral world
leader."

Assailing the evils of anti-Semitism in Europe, Burg said he believes that
this "disease" is note necessarily the problem of the Jews, but that of the
Europeans who must remove it and other xenophobias from their continent.

Burg chided Europe for its "constant preaching" to Israel. While a Europe
that is an "honest broker" for the Middle East peace process is a necessary
component of an agreement, it is not enough, he said. Instead, Burg said,
the best agent to bring peace to the region would be a European partner
that appreciates the weightiness of the conflict, and had a "real interest
in solving the problem in the Middle East."

He wondered why this has yet to occur since Europe should have "far greater
immediate interest than the US in solving this conflict."

A war using non-conventional weapons less than "1,000 kilometers from
European capitals" would affect Europe much more than the US, he claimed.

WIESENTHAL CENTER URGES ITALY TO BLOCK RENEWED EFFORTS TO CONVENE INTERNATIONAL NEO-NAZI HATEFEST

The Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Associate Dean, Rabbi Abraham Cooper, and its
Director for International Liaison, Dr. Shimon Samuels, have written to Prime
Minister, Silvio Berlusconi, and Deputy Prime Minister, Gianfranco Fini, to
advise them that an international conference organized by the neo-Fascist
movement Nuovo Ordine Europeo of Trieste will apparently convene in Trieste
on 14 December.

Entitled "In Memory of the Millions of Civilian Victims of the Democracies
and Their Lies", the participants are to include:

· Ahmed Rami, who fled from Morocco to Sweden after his assassination attempt
on the late King Hassan, and who has been convicted in Stockholm for
incitement on his Radio Islam, and is currently again under investigation.

· an Iranian radical Muslim fundamentalist.

· the Swiss organizers of a Holocaust denial conference scheduled for last
spring in Beirut, but cancelled by Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri.

· a revisionist who fled a Swiss court and now resides in Teheran.

· an Australian apologist for Osama Bin-Laden, who was released on bail,
pending conviction by a German court for Holocaust denial.

· an American who insults the memory of 9/11 victims in claiming the attacks
were organized by the United States and Israeli intelligence services.

The Wiesenthal Center urged the Italian authorities "to move against any such
suspects who enter the country and are fugitives from the law. They should be
promptly deported to the democracies where they are sought for trial," as
also "to take all necessary measures to ban this gathering that, if allowed
to take place, would aid and abet the forces of terrorism, racism and
antisemitism."

The Simon Wiesenthal Center had alerted Italy in September of a similar
conference to be held in Verona, which was aborted due to the authorities' intervention.

Ma gli animatori triestini di Nuovo Ordine Europeo negano l’esistenza dell’incontro

«Egregio presidente impedisca che a Trieste si svolga il 14 dicembre una conferenza internazionale sul revisionismo storico organizzata dal movimento neofascista Ordine Nuovo Europeo».
Lo scrive il Centro «Simon Wiesenthal» di Parigi al presidente del Consiglio Silvio Berlusconi.
Identico appello è stato rivolto al vice premier Gianfranco Fini che a breve dovrebbe recarsi a Gerusalemme per riannodare i rapporti tra la destra italiana e Israele. Secondo la lettera del «Centro Wiesenthal», la conferenza è destinata ad alimentare «le forze del terrorismo, del razzismo e dell’antisemitismo».
Ma a Trieste il professor Nichols Guillame e sua moglie Elena Nicole, animatori del «Centro Studi Nuovo Ordine Europeo» di via dei Navali 35, negano di aver in programma per dicembre qualsiasi manifestazione, pubblica o privata.
«Mi meraviglio degli ebrei che sono noti per esser efficentissimi e informati molto bene. Nel loro appello a Berlusconi e Fini hanno fatto un pasticcio, riproponendo l’identico copione usato a ottobre a Verona per far fallire un nostro convegno sul revisionismo storico. Lì il convegno è stato impedito con la scusa dell’ordine pubblico, turbato non da noi ma dai ragazzotti dei Centri sociali. Alle loro provocazioni non abbiamo abboccato. Qui a Trieste invece il temuto convegno del 14 dicembre proprio non esiste. Sono notizie false. Mi piacerebbe sapere se il ministro degli Interni italiano si chiama Beppe Pisanu o se al contrario il responsabile di quel dicastero non sia Simon Wiesenthal».
La signora Elena Nicole non esclude comunque a breve scadenza altre iniziative. «Dobbiamo consultarci con gli oratori e i relatori. I nostri convegni sono autofinanziati e si propongono di far chiarezza su periodi controversi della Storia che ha bisogno di revisioni. Peraltro anche Giampaolo Pansa e Marcello Veneziani hanno convenuto pubblicamente sulla necessità di approfondire alcuni temi collegati alla Repubblica di Salò e ai giovani che combatterono per quella bandiera. Noi non siamo un movimento politico, siamo un centro studi. A Trieste nello scorso maggio abbiamo organizzato un convegno alla Fiera in cui il sindacalista Ugo Fabbri ha parlato della Risiera e ha suscitato molti consensi e applausi. Non posso negare che le teorie di Julius Evola mi affascinano, come mi affascina quel grande uomo di cultura aristocratica che fu Alessandro Pavolini. Nei nostri convegni diamo spazio alle voci di quegli studiosi che oggi l’Europa ed altri Paesi perseguitano per le loro teorie, facendoli finire in carcere, privandoli del lavoro, affamandoli e mettendoli all’indice...Non esiste solo un revisionimo di destra ma anche uno di sinistra».
Il Centro Wiesenthal di Parigi ha anche diffuso una lista dei probabili relatori al convegno di Nuovo Ordine Europeo del 14 dicembre a Trieste. Nell’elenco compare il nome di Ahmed Rami, un ufficiale marocchino tra gli organizzatori di un fallito attentato al re Hassan e per questo condannato a morte. Vive in Svezia dove gli è stato concesso asilo politico. Gestisce «Radio Islam», un’emittente presente anche in Internet che si dice «contro il razzismo ebraico verso i non- ebrei» e attacca Israele che, a suo dire, «costituisce per la sua sola esistenza, una completa provocazione a ogni principio, regola e legge internazionale».
Alla manifestazione del 14 dicembre dovrebbero partecipare anche fondamentalisti islamici iraniani, nonché il professor Fedrich Toben, un docente australiano cacciato dall’insegnamento per le sue tesi revisioniste e incarcerato-secondo Nuovo Ordine Europeo-per sette mesi in Germania. Previsto infine l’intervento di un non meglio specificato «militante americano» che secondo il Centro Wiesenthal insulta le vittime delle Twin Towers sostenendo che gli attacchi dell’11 settembre sono stati organizzati dai servizi segreti americani e israeliani».

A museum of tolerance in a city of fanatics

Only in the holy city of Jerusalem are white elephants tempted to believe they
have found their heaven. No matter where they come from, when someone
decides to bring them to Jerusalem, the elephants first prosper, stuffed
with all the hollow slogans of provincial kitsch, ignorance, and greed that
blossom in the holy ground. But sadly, the life span of the white elephants is very
short, because the struggle for survival is cruel and ruthless and their
importers are interested in the profits resulting from bringing them to the
city, not in the fate of the beasts after they've arrived.

The skeletons of such white elephants are scattered throughout the city,
and others that up until recently were considered "vital for the very
existence of the city" are struggling to survive. Nevertheless, new white
elephants line up for the convoy, and as the nattering rhetoric accompanies
the pathetic procession, only the names of the entrepreneurs and the vague
details of the project change. Occasionally, when there comes an elephant
newer and bigger than the previous, people rub their eyes and are certain
nothing more monstrous can come along, but sure enough, an even more
grotesque creation shows up, as if it was an iron law of nature: Welcome
the Simon Wiesenthal Museum of Tolerance as designed by Frank Gehry.

It is difficult to imagine a project so hallucinatory, so irrelevant, so
foreign, so megalomaniac, as the Museum of Tolerance. The mere attempt to stick the
term tolerance to a building so intolerant to its surroundings is
ridiculous. Others have already referred to the extravagant arrogance
expressed in the geometric forms that can't be any more dissonant to the
environment in which it is planned to put this alien object. There's no
need to waste words on the absurdity of a Museum of Tolerance planted on
part of an ancient Muslim cemetery, some of which has long since been
turned into a parking lot, and will now be topped by spaces in which people
are meant to learn about tolerance, mutual respect and religious
coexistence.

The most intolerant city in the world, battleground for all who claim eternal
truths - "the sons of light" against the "sons of darkness" in the name of the
"absolute right" - will get a "temple of tolerance," that will never be involved
in any serious contention. Fanatic, brutal Jerusalem, saturated with the
ambition to gain exclusive possession over it, will take pride in a site that
preaches equality between communities and the brotherhood of nations, and
from its rooftops will be seen the homes of Palestinians, whose struggle
for freedom is always defined as "terror."

Neither the project's initiators nor its financial backers deserve the
criticism, which should be reserved for the local authorities that allowed this white
elephant into the city. As in previous cases, there was a combination of the
unbridled urge to do something, a sloppy planning process, political
motives, and a very large dose of provincialism: See, they're going to let
Jerusalem be like Los Angeles and if we don't recognize Gehry's
architectural genius they'll say - heaven forbid - that we don't understand
aesthetic sophistication, so we could lose the chance to get on the world
tourism map, to be the next Bilbao.

Nobody should complain to the initiators. They're just behaving like good
Jews, who live in the Diaspora and want to be involved in nurturing "good"
causes, free of conflict and complex messages, to allow them to keep living
the good life and still feel the satisfaction of having contributed to
lofty causes. The marginal readiness of Diaspora Jews to be superficially
involved, from a safe distance, is exploited by an entire industry of
schnorrers and "funds," run by various government agencies and
institutional interests for the sake of being in motion, without any serious look at the goals or the aesthetic and environmental implications.

After the white elephant rises to its feet, there's no need to worry about how
to keep it alive and maintained, and whether there's a budget - since it's
impossible to ask for money to keep it clean and maintained - they'll look
for a new white elephant, and there's no doubt Jerusalem's name will enable
another entrepreneur to initiate yet another megalomaniacal project. The
Who's Who of Jerusalem, after all, was at the presentation of the Museum
of Tolerance.

Usually, the project initiators and the authorities who "promote" them, trust
the fact that the public is apathetic or worried about its own affairs, or fears
the criticism might harm professional or economic interests. The absurdity
of the Museum of Tolerance and the danger that this white elephant might
actually rise, are so tangible that this time apathy cannot be allowed to
take over. There have been successful campaigns waged against destructive
projects in Jerusalem and there's no reason why a well-planned campaign
won't succeed in this case. The Museum of Tolerance project must be
eradicated without any tolerance.
