The reason I always give so much detail is actually for your benefit, so you know and get a little inside look at the workings of putting together such a huge event. Of course, another thing, we want to be as open and public as we can. It prevents disinformation and rumors. Not that there are already "plenty." As you know, we started to prepare for one day. Now it is a whole weekend, with a speaker line-up that is unheard of. In order to be more efficient, we will not list the speakers anymore and other detailed information. That's right. I've always said that. I still see websites carrying the wrong price for the ticket. It's $35.00. The best deal you'll ever get. Here is what you get for these $35.00: Saturday, 4/24: Breakfast: coffee, tea, juices, milk bread, butter, various jams Lunch: choice of salad, turkey or ham sandwich Dinner: Hungarian Gulasch, Spaetzle and country bread First drink free with lunch and dinner Sunday, 4/25: Breakfast: same as Saturday Lunch: potato soup and choice of sandwich Dinner: Pork roast, red cabbage, rice, potato salad The "Ernst Zundel Revisionist Resource Guide" will be given to you at your arrival. Now you still don't think that's a deal? What is not free? Snack bar - second drink and wine - dessert buffet. We have chosen one red wine (Merlot) and three white wines (Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and for the wine aficionado a German Liebfrauen Milch). Beverages are $1 each, domestic wine $2 a glass, and German wine $3 a glass. Now to the lodging: We have said this before and will say it again. It is $35.00 per night, and you have to add the TOT tax. The total will be $44.09 per night, per room. We have made all reservations for the speakers, and this deal is available for all guests of the conference. We are ready to send the conference packages to all speakers and those who have paid reservations. The package includes the exact location, your reference code for the hotel deal, a brochure of the hotel, your ticket, and back ground information about the conference facility. We recommend that everyone should stay in that hotel. It gives you some off time if you want to chat with one of the speakers. The conference package will also include some alternative lodging for those who like it fancy, for example the Hyatt Regency for $209 per night, each room + TOT tax, the Hilton for $104 per night, each room + TOT tax, the Clarion for $79 per night, each room + TOT tax. We also recommend for everyone to make sure to arrive on Friday, a day before the conference starts. We will provide free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel, from the hotel to the conference and on Monday, back to the airport. We received a couple of e-mails from guests who were wondering what kind of a "shabby hotel" that must be for that price. Well, my answer: The Hyatt Regency. On a serious note, we have checked out the hotel, it's located in a good area and close to the conference facility. It was just recently remodeled, as you will see in the brochure that you are getting. Here are some times: The conference will start breakfast at 7:30 am until 8:45am. Even though our hotel deal includes breakfast, I recommend, if you pass on ours, to be at the facility at 8:00am. The first speaker will start around 9:00am. The speaker schedule will be in the resource guide. The Ernst Zundel raffle: Finally, donations are coming in. One in particular who always comes through for us is native painter Joseph Offenbach. One of his famous paintings, "Coming to America" was put on a limited 5,000 issue print, with his signature. Two of these prints were donated, signed and framed. David Irving's "Hitler's War" poster, from his book tours, also framed, is another donation. Revisionists Bradley R. Smith, Germar Rudolf, Fredrick Toben and the IHR have all donated a book, signed by the author. Of course, the European American Culture Council will donate a Celtic Sword to the raffle. Ms. Ingrid Rimland will send a special item for the raffle. I encourage those of you who want to make a raffle donation to send it to us via mail. The conference also features several bookstores, with the newest bestsellers in the revisionist community: Noontide Press, Theses and Dissertation, Heimat Publishers, and the Adelaide Peace Books. The German IDGR, a website that monitors right-wing extremism, called it "revisionist conference with neo-Nazi gathering." Everything they printed was wrong. As for neo-Nazi gathering, look at the rules: 1) We reject all calls for violence or racial slurs (on-site law enforcement and security personnel will remove anyone violating this rule). 2) Anyone bashing revisionists or revisionist organizations will be removed. 3) Dress appropriately - no t-shirts. Anyone violating this rule will not be allowed inside the conference. 4) No weapons. There is going to be a metal detector at the entry. Anyone not passing - good-bye. 5) Cell phones and pager need to be turned off inside the conference room. 6) Video taping by guests is "verboten". Only designated personnel is allowed to tape. The videos are the sole property of the EACC and the Adelaide Institute. However, bring as many photo cameras as you like. 7) Hecklers and agitators will be removed. 8) Keep your conversations during speaking times at a minimum. 9) Follow the instructions of the master of ceremonies. 10) Enjoy yourself! In fact, it is my belief that all the veteran revisionists will be there. We have several paid reservations, but are not allowed yet to announce them. So, get surprised. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is preparing for the conference - so we would like to think! Front-page coverage in today's Bee indicates that he suddenly is forming a "Kitchen Commission", comprised predominantly of Jews. The point man for this commission is none other then former Jewish Speaker of the House, Bob Hertzberg. He has emerged as the key advisor and confidant of the Governor. The commission includes Representative David Dreier, former US Secretary of State George Shultz, and Bob White, former aid to former Governor Pete Wilson. It is a much talked about secret what this "Kitchen Commission" will be for. The Sacramento Bee introduced it this morning with a picture of Schwarzenegger, dancing the Hora with Hertzberg. Go figure! And here is another speaker profile. This one is dear to my heart, because I briefly met Lady Michele Renouf. Talk about gorgeous! She was in the company of columnist Joe Sobran at the 2002 IHR Conference. Then, I knew very little about Lady Renouf. Today, after extensive research, I have great admiration for this beautiful woman. Lady Michele Renouf was born in Australia. Lady Renouf has been in the firing line ever since her support for Historian David Irving. She is also a Wagner devotee, and she has claimed that the greatest global advertising stint occurred when the Jews launched Christianity on to the non-Jews. Lady Michele Renouf was the late Sir Frank's third wife, which earned her the title Lady. She is a fearless advocate of Freedom of Speech and has been numerous times attacked by the enemy. Lady Renouf is also a staunch supporter of Ernst Zundel. Paul Fromm, Director of the Canadian Association for Free Expression says this about Lady Renouf: "We can take considerable inspiration from the determined efforts of Lady Michele Renouf, to spread the word about Ernst Zundel persecution. She has met with former US Presidential candidate Pat Buchanan, and has also spoken before a committee meeting in the House of Lords in England. She reports: 'During this meeting in the House of Lords, when I invited to speak, I at once related the British predicament to Ernst Zundel's habeas corpus case.... Several of the 30 leading activists requested a copy of the report that I read from'."
