It's Friday, and you are supposed to get only a
conference update. However, I can't help it if
something comes up. So it did. Number 1, Shoah Weekend
in Germany and an excellent response from Paul Grubach
to Abe Foxman's new book. So let's get started.

Shoah Weekend in Germany:
This weekend is Holocaust Remembrance Day and the
German nation is reminded again that their ancestors
are allegedly mass murderers. Media and TV networks
will repeat Wes Craven-style horror fantasies of "Nazi
Terror."
It started all at 1:35 in the afternoon (German time)
with the completely distorted documentary Julius
Streicher und sein 'Stürmer' (Julius Streicher and his
Stürmer). Julius Streicher was the publisher of a
weekly newspaper, called Der Stürmer. Der Stürmer
was then what Community News and The Truth At Last
is today - pointing out the evil of the Jews. Part 1
is Julius Streicher und sein Stürmer, Part 2 is
Wie das NS Hetzblatt 'Der Stürmer' die Jugend prägte
(How the NS hate sheet Der Stürmer shaped the youth).
Julius Streicher was born in 1885. He turned the small
little newspaper into a million print operation. In
1927, 14,000 and by 1933, 2 million. Most famous
were Streicher's cartoons about the Jews.
Streicher never physically attacked any Jews.
Nevertheless, in the infamous Nürnberg Trial, Julius
Streicher was found guilty and sentenced to death for
having indirectly participated in the mass killings of
Jews. He was hanged in 1946.
If Dr. Fields and I would have been around at that
time, we would have suffered the same fate. Imagine,
somebody being sentenced to death for printing a paper
that a group of people disagrees with.
Then, on Saturday, the Germans will have to endure the
utmost horror of the workings of "Nazi Germany."
Steven King couldn't have done a better job. Die
Geschichte des SS Arztes Josef Mengele (The story of
SS Doctor Josef Mengele). They called him the "Angel
of Death." Several movies became big money makers for
Hollywood Jews: The Boys of Brazil and Marathon
Man. It is alleged that Mengele was responsible for
having sent 40,000 Jews to the gas chambers in
Auschwitz. You know, those gas chambers that never
existed. Dr. Mengele studied medicine at Frankfurt
University. He joined the SA in 1933 and became Chief
Medical Officer in Auschwitz in 1943.
Dr. Mengele disappeared after the war. A propaganda
campaign made him the most wanted and evil person of
all of Nazi Germany. The worldwide propaganda
triggered sightings of Dr. Mengele all over the world.
He was seen more often than Elvis Presley today.
Then, in 1985, the US, Germany, and Israel, put a
bounty of $3.4 million on Dr. Mengele's head. Dr.
Mengele's documentary is shown in remembrance of Shoah
Day and was directed by Israeli film director Dan
Settan. Eyewitnesses in the documentary will make sure
that viewers will walk away with a renewed hatred.
Of course, the final treat for the Germans will be the
second documentary Komm zu Mengele
(Come to
Mengele), which is about a midget family, named Ovitz.
It describes the ordeal that the family had to go
through. And then, the movie Nichts als the Wahrheit
(Nothing but the Truth), starring as Dr. Mengele,
famed German actor Goetz George.
You bet that there will be no TV specials about the
real Shoa, the holocaust bombings of Dresden, where
hundreds of thousands of civilians were burned alive.

More of the ADL's Baloney

In the 1/29/2004 issue of the Patriot Letter, Walter
Mueller commented upon a new book by Anti-Defamation
League (ADL) National Director Abraham Foxman.
Entitled Never Again? The Threat of the New
Anti-Semitism, it has been hailed by the mainstream
media as a "major publishing event."
Because the book's sociopolitical importance, I am in
the process of writing a thorough scholarly critique
of it for Germar Rudolf's The Revisionist. Let it
suffice to say this tome is chock full of distortions,
fallacies, omissions, misleading statements, and
hypocritical double standards. In order to illustrate
my point the reader should consider the following.
Please keep in mind that this is not even the best
example I could give, just the simplest to explain in
this short amount of space.
On pages 13 to 16 of the book, Foxman discusses
"anti-Semitic beliefs." Consider the following two
statements in his "Anti-Semitism index." 1. Jews
are
more loyal to Israel than to this country [the United
States]. 2. Jews stick together more than other
Americans (or citizens of other countries).
The ADL chieftain claims that these statements are
false, and those who do believe them to be true are
guilty of holding "anti-Semitic beliefs." California
Psychology Professor Kevin MacDonald uncovered
evidence that shows otherwise.
In his monumental study of Anti-Semitism, Separation
and Its Discontents, Dr. MacDonald discussed the
findings of the Jewish scholar, J.S. Woocher, as
expressed in his Sacred Survival: The Civil Religion
of American Jews (1986). Woocher's data are based
upon a sample of American Jews participating in Jewish
leadership development programs during the late 1970s.
It is fair to assume that Woocher's findings
represent the beliefs of a significant part of
American Jewry. More than 98 percent of the Jewish
respondents agreed or strongly agreed with this
statement: "It is important that there always be a
Jewish people." More than 95 percent agreed or
strongly agreed with this statement: "Every Jew is
responsible in some measure for the well-being of
every other Jew" 85 percent agreed or strongly agreed
with this statement: "Assimilation [with non-Jews] is
the greatest threat to Jewish survival today."
Then, MacDonald discusses Woocher's evidence that
shows that certain American Jews are indeed more loyal
to Israel that to the United States. 70 percent of
the respondents agreed or strongly agreed with this
statement: "I feel more emotional when I hear
'Hatikvah' [the Israeli national anthem] than when I
hear 'The Star Spangled Banner' [the American national
anthem]."
Now, here comes the clincher!! Less than
33 percent agreed or strongly agreed with this
statement: "The primary loyalty of American Jews must
be to the United States and their fellow Americans."
Since the majority did not agree with this statement,
this strongly suggests that their ultimate loyalty is
indeed to Israel and world Jewry, and not the United
States.
As Dr. MacDonald noted, these survey results indicated
broad Jewish agreement with attitudes regarding the
importance of Jewish group solidarity and continuity,
and the primacy of Jewish group identification over
any other. Of course, one cannot stereotype all Jews.
I know some Jews that are very good American citizens
and they couldn't care less about Israel. But here is
the most important point. Contrary to what Foxman
claims, it is fair to say that many influential Jews
are indeed more loyal to Israel than to the United
States, and many Jews do in fact stick together more
than other Americans.
Author Foxman's definition and classification scheme
for "anti-Semitism" is in itself an excellent example
of the fallacy of "question-begging epithets." The
fallacy of question-begging epithets is committed
when, describing an issue, epithets are applied to it
which not only describe it but evaluate it.
Foxman introduces two claims about Jews in America:
Jews are more loyal to Israel than to the US, and Jews
stick together more than most non-Jews. Nowhere does
he offer any evidence to show that these claims are
false. The ADL Director simply applies a vituperative
label ("anti-Semitic beliefs") to them that carries
with it the following evaluation: "These theories
about the Jews are merely prejudices. They are
obviously false and must be rejected."
The
"anti-Semitic" label that Foxman applies to various
negative claims about Jewish behavior is employed to
nullify the listener's powers of rational thought
before they begin to operate. Merely on hearing the
charge of "anti-Semitism," the listener is induced to
believe that negative claims about certain groups of
Jews are false, when in fact they are true!
One can see how
Foxman's definition of and
classification scheme for "anti-Semitism" serves the
interests of the Jewish-Zionist political and cultural
establishment. Criticism of Jewry, which, if given an
open and public hearing would threaten their power and
interests, is surrounded with a taboo and
delegitimized. Apparently, the influential Foxman is
attempting to "criminalize" and demonize the
legitimate critics and opponents of the very powerful
Jewish establishment.

There are still many rumors floating around on the
web. All speakers who are listed have been confirmed
and are expected to come. Numerous already have made
their travel arrangements. Unless you hear from us
otherwise, they are just rumors.
There might be some unforeseen circumstances that
could change the speaker schedule. After the 9-11
tragedy, America has become the most difficult country
in the world to visit. With the exception of 27
countries, visitors will have to be prepared to be
fingerprinted, photographed and interrogated.
Even though the Bush administration keeps telling us
that we are winning the war on terrorism, one would
not know if one looks at the Patriot Act.
If you are traveling from one of the countries that
are not excluded from the Visa requirement, you will
have to apply for a visa. The Homeland Security
Department has a program, which is called "Visa Waiver
Program" (VWP).
As of January 1, 2004, 27 countries
are included in the VWP: Andorra, Australia, Austria,
Belgium, Brunai, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany,
Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein,
Luxemburg, Monaco, The Netherlands, New Zealand,
Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Singapor, Slovenia,
Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
The VWP permits Visa-free travel to the US and in the
US if these conditions are met:
passport is required
you can't stay longer than 90 days
you have no criminal record
you are not a drug addict or a drug dealer
and then, comes the power of the Jews who added this
outrageous requirement for the Visa Waiver Program:
"The VWP does not apply to those who were involved in
Nazi persecution or Nazi trials, who have participated
in the persecution of any person(s) under the control
of the Nazi government of Germany and people who have
ever been a member of the Nazi party or belong to a
terrorist organization."
Now hold it. All this means is that you have to apply
for a Visa. Of course, the question is, will they give
it to you?

Homeland Security has excluded from these rules all
border countries of the US. Mexico and Canada. So, you
see, this could become a problem for some of our
speakers, if the US denies them a Visa, which they
surely have to apply for, due to some of their pasts.
Thus far, no one has encountered any problems. Even
Horst Mahler still feels pretty safe to come.
Should it happen that any of our speakers will be
denied entry to the US, we will make it a public
thing. All speakers will send their speeches before
hand, and we can read them in case of absence.
For the Australians: We have received 15 cancellations
from guests coming from Australia because of
misinformation. Here are the facts: Australia is one
of the 27 exempt countries. It is part of the VWP and
if the VWP requirements are met, no Visa is required,
no fingerprinting, no photo and no interrogation. So,
please reconsider.
We have finished all preparation work for the
conference. Our ducks are lined up, reservation
packages have gone out, and the Ernst Zündel
Revisionist Resource Guide is finished. Now we have
almost three months time to get the word out.
The Ernst Zündel Raffle is coming along just fine.
