Peter Wakefield Sault - England
Peter Wakefiled Sault is an artist, a composer and a
systems analyst. It is in the last capacity that he
has taken it upon himself to examine ancient
metrology.
You can read his professional CV at
http://www.odeion.org/cv.
He has been employment blacklisted in Britain since 1990.
He was caught being ethical and honest by his then employer,
Britain's then largest bank. He subsequently made a very
large dent in their operations by informing the FBI of their
illegal activities, which got them thrown out of the
USA. Now they are no longer Britain's largest bank and
they were forced to sell their vanity tower in the
City of London. He, of course, is still employment
blacklisted.

Dear Sirs,Your website (http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/) displays the following claim:-"This website is anti-war and anti-lie. We are non-partisan. We do not support or endorse any particular political party or candidate. The purpose of this site is to expose deceptions by governments and media used to trick the public into wars and out of their money."In contrast, I note your recent inclusion of a link (http://www.lewrockwell.com/mcmaken/mcmaken55.html) to an article titled 'Your Friend Global Warming' by Ryan McMaken, editor of the Western Mercury. In this article Mr. McMaken attacks environmentalism on the basis that global warming is not proven. He is, of course, quite correct to state that global warming, let alone its cause if it is indeed happening, is not proven. However, environmentalism is not solely about global warming. It is also about large-scale toxification of the environment by, for examples, diesel particulates, radioactive waste, PCBs, dioxin, mercury and organophosphorus insecticides, a matter which is most certainly proven.I think it is, at the very least, irresponsible of you to link to such propaganda, especially in view of the publicly expressed policy quoted above, without also advising readers of the legal fallacy (the 'straw man' argument) in which its author is engaging. Would you care to clarify your own position on the matter of 'libertarian' anti-environmentalist propaganda?Kind RegardsPeter Wakefield Saulthttp://www.odeion.or-------------

----- Original Message -----From: Peter Wakefield SaultSent: Thursday, January 15, 2004 12:35 PMSubject: Environmentalism
Dear Mr. McMaken,I have just read your article titled 'Your Friend Global Warming' (February 12th 2002, online at http://www.lewrockwell.com/mcmaken/mcmaken55.html), wherein you condemn environmentalism in general on the basis that global warming as a consequence of the growing concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere (itself a consequence of massive burn-off of fossil fuels) is a myth.Whilst I might agree that the case for causation is moot, that is surely not the be-all and end-all of environmentalism. May I ask what your feelings are regarding the progressive toxification of the environment by diesel particulates, radioactivity, PCBs, dioxin, mercury and organophosphorus (OP) insecticides (to name but a few of the poisons with which we are nowadays assaulted in the name of the sacred cow of 'progress')?
In attacking environmentalism it would seem that you are defending such toxification. Are you not simply churning out propaganda on behalf of the military-industrial complex and global agribusiness? T
hen again perhaps you have not looked closely enough at the issues. Either way you seem to me to be engaging in irresponsible editorializing.
Would you care to clarify your position on this?
Kind RegardsPeter Wakefield Sault========================
Hi All,
Apparently Mr Ryan McMaken (editor@westernmercury.com) is unreachable so I guess I won't be getting an answer from him. I will try resending the
message again tomorrow and will forward any meaningful reply that I may
eventually receive. If anybody is uninterested in this please let me know.
Best Wishes
Peter
