******************************************************* Revisionists who never risk anything: I was debating this commentary for a while, because I knew that I would step on somebody's tow, but then the David Cole issue arrived, and a prominent revisionist cancelled his speaker ship at the 2004 International Revisionist Conference (see Friday's update). Let me say this first. Fear and intimidation are traits of our enemy. When I read about David Cole the last couple of days, I was reminded on how many of those so-called revisionists never risked anything.
David Cole, supposedly a young Jewish man, and, according to the reports, the only true Jewish revisionist, seemed to have done a tremendous work in the revisionist community.
cancelled his speaker ship. I know him much better than David Cole, whom I have never met. The revisionist who cancelled was considered a friend in my house, and we have wined and dined him many times.
But, a change in government in his country opened the possibility that he would get a good job in the diplomatic corps of that new government. For that reason, he cancelled his speaker ship. But not only that, he insisted that his name be not affiliated with revisionism anymore, as well as white nationalism. He didn't want to jeopardize the chances to become again a "respected" diplomat. However, he did mention to keep a door open, in case something goes wrong. I think pretty much the same has happened with David Cole. I hear the reason for his disappearance was that the Jewish Defense League threatened him and his family. Now that the JDL is more or less defunct with one head honcho committing suicide in prison and the other one spending the rest of his life there, David Cole wants to come back. There is one question we all need to ask. Can we trust people like this again? Because David Cole actually apologized to the Jews and denounced his work. The other revisionist I am pretty sure will do the same thing, if the new government makes it a condition for the job. As we say, before the rooster crows three times, you will have denounced me twice. I am not talking about those people that make it very clear that they can't afford to be officially involved, or use pen names for their writings. I am talking about people that have actually been in the limelight. People who have made great contributions to the movement as long as it was safe.

Yes, I have been threatened, my career has been destroyed, and I am still here. I guess, I am more or less one of the old fashioned kind, you know the kind I am talking about. The kind that signed the Declaration of Independence. And by doing so, they were considered traitors against the Crown. Franklin, Adams, Hancock, and Jefferson are the more familiar of these 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence. All of them had families, and all of them risked their lives and their fortunes. 18 were under age 40. 3 were in their 20's and out of the 56, 24 were judges or lawyers. 11 were merchants, 9 were landowners and farmers and the remaining 12 were doctors, ministers and politicians. All of them owned substantial property and all but 2 had families. They had economic security and great standing in their communities. Each of them knew that they could lose everything if they sign the Declaration of Independence. The penalty for treason was death by hanging. I could tell you each story of each man. And it applies to revisionism. Ernst Zündel is paying the ultimate price and many have already paid it. Dr. Robert Faurisson, Jürgen Graf, Dr. Fredrick Toben, Udo Walendy, Mark Weber, Guenther Deckert, Wolfgang Fröhlich, Walter Ochensberger, Fred Leuchter, Germar Rudolf, etc. etc. These are the brave men of revisionism. They have made sacrifices because they believed in what they are doing. I am pretty sure that you might say it's not that easy. Yes it is. If you are dedicated and if you mean what you say. I have always been involved in issues that were considered dangerous. And I was always aware of the consequences. I remember those days where I was fighting street gangs. We knew then that consequences could be deadly. And when the first firebomb flew through the window, I knew what that meant. The choice was to live in terror or to fight. But, as my Mom always used to say: "Better an ending in terror than a terror with no end." 90% of the Jewish tactic is intimidation. And so many of us fall for it. And this is not just talk. I have been there. I have been threatened. I have been beaten, and I have suffered financially. In my case, it motivated me to be more vigilant. The heroism and sacrifices I know. I also know what it was like before the war and what might have been. Just a passing comment.
