The
veteran German revisionist Professor Udo Walendy, 75 years old, spoke
mainly about his many encounters with the justice system of his country. In
effect the courts and police there have been harassing him almost
continually for nearly forty years, in order to prevent him from making
public the fruits of his historical research regarding both the
responsibilities for the last war and the alleged "Holocaust" of
the Jews of Europe: not long ago he was imprisoned for more than two years
for writings which he had not even published. The entire stock of several
issues of the review that he formerly produced had been confiscated by the
police, without explanation, because they simply contained assertions,
always grounded in documents, that the officials of the servile German state
found disturbing. But his chief work Wahrheit für Deutschland: Die
Schuldfrage des zweiten Weltkrieges (Truth for Germany: the Guilt
Question of the Second World War), a richly and profoundly documented
book, is now authorised in Germany, and an Italian translation is set to
follow the English and French editions.
