Antisemitism is a stupid word
As I write this, I am
watching on Al-Jazeera TV a debate between two French women regarding
that European Poll, which concluded that the majority of Europeans
think that Israel and the US are the biggest threat to world peace.
The 'good gal', i.e. the one who sides with truth and justice and with the Palestinian side is called Ms. Hess which sounds like a German name. Her opponent, Ms. Chemla, the minute she opened her mouth did not waste any time to fix the regular label 'anti-Semite' on to Hess. Then the host threw a bomb shell by revealing that Ms. Hess is a Jew, then asked how can she then be accused of being an anti-Semite? Ms Chemla turned to Ms.Hess asking her with astonishment "are you Jewish?" Ms. Hess clarified that one of her ancestors was a Jew. The host kept on pounding her with the same question over and over, "until when are you going to keep on using the label of 'anti-Semitism's against anyone who opposes Israel's policies?", Ms Chemla never gave the host a straight answer.
