Jewish groups wary of freed extremist

Jewish groups are keeping an eye on convicted Perth arsonist Jack Van Tongeren, who stepped out of Albany Prison last week after serving a 12-year sentence for fire-bombing Chinese businesses in the 1980s.

With a record of anti-Jewish slurs and contributions to the Adelaide Institute website of Holocaust revisionist Dr Fredrick Toben, Mr Van Tongeren, 54, was described this week by Executive Council of Australian Jewry president Jeremy Jones as "a man with a 19th-century racist agenda living in the 21st century."

But Mr Jones said nothing would be done about him unless he violated federal racial hatred legislation that became law while he was in prison.

"What his release has done is it's reminded all of us that Australia not that many years ago was the scene of a small organisation which was using violent action to carry out a racist agenda," he said.

Mr Van Tongeren, a former forklift operator, was one of a small group of extremists who "all think they can save Australia".

The newly-elected chairman of the B'nai B'rith Ati-Defamation Commission, Dr Paul Gardner, said that while Mr Van Tongeren had not made any antisemitic utterances since his release from prison last week, he had a record of anti-Jewish verbal attacks prior to his incarceration.

Dr Gardner said Mr Van Tongeren, the Perth Spokesman for the Australian Nationalists Movement (ANM), also had links to far-right group called the Sydney Forum.

WA Premier Geoff Gallop said on ABC Radio last week that he would not tolerate any unlawful behaviour by the ANM, which was terrorising the Chinese community. "It's not acceptable and we'll make sure it doesn't happen again."

During the ANM's campaign against Asian immigration, Chinese restaurants in Perth were fire-bombed and the city's Asian community vilified.

Dr Gallop, who is also WA's minister for multicultural interests, said supporters of the ANM are a small minority.

Adelaide Institute comments

1. There is something implied here. It is ridiculous even to think along the lines of attempting to 'ethnically cleanse' Australian society. We are not a 'multicultural' society, but rather a pluralistic society, where the English-speaking ethnic group is dominant. Any society, in order to remain viable and not slip into chaos, needs balance and stability, and thus it is this 'ethnic' core that dominates Australia's political life. The Jewish-Zionist influence is quite significant within Australia's political life, but this is only the case so long as it suits those who thrive on this connection. 

2. We supported Mr Van Tongeren during his imprisonment because his long prison sentence was a blatant political act When two students torched the honourary French consul's building in Perth, their sentence was not even a year's prison. Also, the fact that judicial irregularities occurred during the trial, and the fact that Mr Van Tongeren's mind has not been broken throughout this long period, highlights problems that will not go away. Thoughts are free, and imprisoning them, will not kill them —unless we want a Gulag Australia.

3. We distance ourselves from Mr Van Tongeren's inciting to physical action. However, Jeremy Jones has succeeded in getting into law that merely expressing ideas is also an act of inciting. The 17 September 2002 Federal Court of Australia judgment, has confirmed that certain ideas ( about the 'Holocaust') may not be expressed because it hurts his feelings.

Such judgment does not make the critical distinction between 'push' and 'pull' as applied to the Internet. We are certainly not 'pushing' our material on to anyone. It is on the Internet, passively sitting there, waiting to be 'pulled' down by someone who uses that service. Hence there is 'volition' involved. This means that, for example, Jeremy Jones is actively looking for and then willingly reading material he considers hurtful, then complaining about it.

It is analogous to that old lady who complains to the police about someone "doing dirty things".  She lays a complaint with the local police and invites them to her place. The officer cannot find anyone doing dirty things, but then she invites the officer to her bathroom where she asks him to stand on a small stool, there to look out the small window into the house across the road, where someone "is doing dirty things".

The moral and legal problems raised by this kind of volition needs more thought.

4. We note that Dr Paul Gardner is back in action. For years, as an academic at Monash University, he has propounded the official 'Holocaust' dogma to impressionable students. Now, in his retirement, he is doing again what he has been doing for a lifetime, justifying the existence of the apartheid, Zionist, racist State of Israel. Yet, he too, will pull the 'race card' and cry 'antisemitism', with which he attempts to silence his critics.

5. The problem with derivative thinkers such as Jeremy Jones and Dr Paul Gardner is that they need someone like Van Tongeren. Whether Van Tongeren needs them, that's debatable.

Stalker attacked couple who 'watered down race'

A Canberra man of Chinese descent had stalked a mixed-race couple and assaulted them because they were "watering down the race", the ACT Magistrates Court heard yesterday.

The man had also stalked another woman, attempted to break into her home, accused her father of failing to "control your daughters" and assaulted her neighbour.

Phillip So, 30, of Lyons, pleaded guilt to a number of charges, including stalking with intent to harass, assault causing actual bodily harm and burglary with intent to steal.

He was refused bail.

Police alleged the married couple had been walking through Woden but interchange on October 21, last year, when they were approached by So, who they had seen on a bus earlier.

Police said So had said something to the woman like, "you are a slut, not sleeping with Chinese men", and told her husband he was "raping our women" and "watering down the race'.

So had again confronted the couple at the interchange the next day, repeatedly slashing a knife  through the air close to the man and cutting apart his grocery-bag.

A passer-by had intervened.

Earlier that year, a woman had complained to police about a man who had been following her around the interchange and appeared to resent her being with people who were not of Asian descents.

Police said So had been stalking this woman for more than two years before he punched her neighbour and confronted her father outside the woman's home on June 1 this year.

At various times since May 2002, So had confronted the woman, often on buses or at interchanges, and had once accused her of "offending his dignity".

In June last year he had sat near her on a bus and she had moved seats and informed the bus driver of the situation. So had then struck her in the face and ran out the door.

The bus driver had given chase but did not catch him.

Exactly a year later, on June 1, 2002 the woman's father had caught So attempting to break into the family home. He recognised So as his daughter's stalker.

Police said So suggested the father "control his daughters" and swung a punch at him. They missed.

When a neighbour became involved, So had produced a wooded baton and struggled with the neighbour, punching him in the eye.

Police arrested So after an anonymous tip-off following the publication of So's photo-fit in the Canberra Times on October 28, 2001.

He was remanded in custody to undergo a psychiatric assessment before sentencing.

A visit from Jack van Tongeren

Australia's most well-known political prisoner, Australian Nationalists Movement leader, Jack van Tongeren, made a brief stop-over at Adelaide today. Adelaide Institute has throughout the years featured a number of articles written by van Tongeren from his prison cell, not because it shares his politics, but because his imprisonment was so blatantly a political act. 

Van Tongeren informed Fredrick Töben that he considers the individuals who could have shown leniency (justice and mercy) towards his excessive prison sentence did not do so because they are personally totally corrupt.

Jack van Tongeren's problem is that he openly professes his racism, and he contextualises it within a moral framework. This upsets, as he says, the corrupt Australian political establishment. What van Tongeren learnt in prison, and what information he received from former establishment politicians who had to do time for 'corruption', is staggering. Most politicians are subject to outright blackmail if they do not tow the line, as Jack says, of the Zionist capitalist internationalists.

ABC broadcaster Phillip Adams, only one of a number of notable Australian public figures, wrote to Jack to get information from him about his ideas and his plans for Australia. Jack wrote back but Adams never passed on this information to his listeners, using it merely to do a personal smear-job on Jack. After all, nationalists cannot possibly have any morally sound redeeming virtues and values.

One is reminded of the slogan used by the media: Think locally, act globally'. The missing injunction is 'think and act nationally first, of course!

We publish the following van Tongeren material so that Phillip Adams is not the only one who has this information advantage over the uninformed public.

On this last day of winter, 20 September 2002CE, I will be released from jail after being held for 13 years, 1month and 6 days, because of my actions in defence of Australian Rights. This is what I have to say:

WE AUSTRALIANS HAVE RIGHTS   

We have the basic right to life itself, and the basic right to maintain our life and health, and to be free from any threats to our life and health.

We have the right to our liberty, to be free to travel and choose our lifestyle, to be free from jailing through the misuse of State power, or the threat of jailing, and we have the right to have freedom to express our opinions and knowledge of whatever we have learned and discovered and write and publish our ideas.

We have the right to associate with anyone we like and form associations, groups or clubs. We have the right to own our own home and land and whatever other commodities that we can buy, and live the good life during our working lifetime and our leisure times. We have the right to bear arms sufficiently to protect our lives, homes and property from whatever threat that may arise, and if necessary, when State authority fails in its duty to protect our Australian Race/Culture, we Australian Citizens have the right to band together as an armed group to protect our Australian soil and our Australian Race/Culture.

We have the right as individuals to discriminate in order to make the best choice as to whom will best suit our circle of friends or task in the workplace or home or wherever. We, the Australian People, have the right as a Nation State to discriminate as to which immigrants will best assimilate into our Australian Race/Culture, and only allow into our country those with the required degree of commonality of race and culture to achieve this.

We have the right to a complete education in order to learn, without restrictions, all the accumulated science, history and wisdom handed down from our ancestors, and also to be able to fully utilize whatever potential we may have so that we can contribute better to society as a whole, and also so that we can secure a prosperous life for our families, friends and ourselves.

We have the right to know how our Nation is run. We have the right to demand that any Government official give an account of his actions or his administration.

Fredrick Töben comments: What I find of interest is that when he comments on Jack van Tongeren's racism, Zionist racist Jeremy Jones pretends to speak on behalf of all Australian Jews, and on behalf of all Australians.

Jones' racism is morally and intellectually corrupt because it is denial-racism, and thus outright deception. Van Tongeren's racism is clearly stated, without deception.

Likewise,  Dr Paul Gardner wishes to inform his readers that van Tongeren also has contacts with the 'Sydney Forum'. Dr Gardner would blush if he knew Jack van Tongeren's contact list among prominent Australians. Even I was surprised who either responded to van Tongeren's letters or wrote to him in prison. 

Mr van Tongeren is worried about the forthcoming legislation on terrorism, and he views it as a certainty that just before the Christmas adjournment — when most of our political leaders are either asleep on the bench or absent from the House — the new terrorist bill will be passed. Then we shall have that climate of fear that was the hallmark of the Soviet Union and its dependencies — people began to whisper for fear of the Zionist racist Jews and their helpers.

Usually the Zionists have their gifts for Australia wrapped up and ready for handing out during the Christmas festive period. I recall that during the early 1990s this is what happened when the Australian war crimes investigations were launched and prospective suspects publicly identified. Our local Adelaide Advertiser uncritically played along with this viciousness.

What have they in store for us this Christmas? Will van Tongeren's prediction come to pass? Who knows, but meanwhile Jack is in the process of writing a book with the title Freedom versus Democracy, wherein he will, so he says, expose Australia's/the world's "evil, degenerate, decadent scum".
