After spending a week in Australia's bush, where there is no ready access to the Internet, and where I did not feel the urge to switch on Radio or TV, it again dawned on me how important it is to be at home within yourself - to stay sane inside of insanity, so to speak!

The attempt mentally to break down individuals that hit the establishment brick wall is nothing new, and it was perfected during the Soviet Union era. A retired psychiatrist explained it to me in 1999 how he would certify those individuals deemed to be mentally unsound by the court system.

He would show such individuals a piece of paper with six to eight squares on it, each one containing some object - a tree, a house, a person, a car, etc. One square remained blank. He would then ask the person before him to respond to what was in those squares. Then he said to me that he would certify them on the strength of what they would say about the blank square. It would be his authority as a psychiatrist against that of the to be certified individual. That the use of mental certification is ever increasing within so-called western democracies must be viewed with great concern.

Paul Fromm's email, below, features a letter from Brad Love who is currently in a Canadian prison for having written strongly-worded letters to politicians who now feel upset at having received such letters. The stupidity of criminalizing a letter writer indicates the moral and intellectual decline of a nation's elites, and that this is happening in Canada does not surprise any more.

The most recent case in Europe is, of course, Dr med Ryke Geerd Hamer, currently imprisoned in a French prison for refusing to recant his discoveries German New Medicine® Die Germanische Neue Medizin® . Hamer's battle parallels Zündel's battle - both are Germans who still want to be Germans.

Once back in Adelaide over 1000 emails awaited my attention - some sent by those who love to pass on viruses, usually 41KB and emanating usually from Germany, Israel and the USA. Then there were over 300 emails from advocates of, among other things, penis enlargement treatment to viagra supplements, all promising a greater sexual - what? The fundamental problems that give rise to such business ventures are, however, not solved by a quick fix of dreaming about larger, bigger, better. If you cannot look yourself in the mirror and feel the Categorical Imperative of wonderment - the moral law within and the starry universe above, then life's merry-go-round will spin you around to the end of your days.

Now and again, I think, we need to jump off this merry-go-round and leave the bustling market place of ideas behind us, and seek comfort within a cloistered environment - a cell. That Ernst Zündel is currently in such a cell must be viewed positively, and it is good to see that Ernst is doing just that.

It is interesting for me to note that David Irving is again becoming involved in matters Revisionism, especially after he attempted, but failed, legally to distance himself from Revisionists through his 2000 London defamation trial. This perhaps means he has finally realized that he failed in "sinking the Auschwitz" single-handedly, and that he does need the support and cooperation of other Revisionists.

It may be a repeat for him, but when Irving appeared in the 1988 Toronto Zündel trial, he already then had nothing to lose but all to gain. Through strutting his stuff on the stage set by Zündel, Robert Faurisson, et al, Irving reinvigorated his waning prominence. Perhaps this time Irving will be more generous with his indebtedness to the old-timer Revisionists!

It is not easy to sustain prominence in the Revisionist enterprise - and Ernst's imprisonment, among others, is actually a much-needed rallying point for those who have been fighting the good fight since Willis Carto founded the IHR as a Revisionist think-tank in 1979. That Carto's vision was not shared by some Revisionists seems in retrospect a lost opportunity because by now the IHR could have developed into a real research institute with degree-granting powers. Instead, we have to have retired Professor Robert Faurisson reminding those who call themselves Revisionists to make a public serious factual statement: "The homicidal gas chambers are a lie!"

Unfortunately David Irving and Mark Weber have refused to do just that. Irving even believes in limited gassings - without demanding proof from those who claim such gassings occurred. If I am wrong here in my statement, then I stand to be corrected.

In the American Free Press of January 24, 2005, founder of the IHR, Willis Carto, wrote an item that again illustrates his capacity to see things in perspective:

Playing with America's Future

President Bush's appointment of Michael Chertoff to the powerful post of director of homeland security could be written off as just an other impetuous or eccentric act by our boy president but it could be deciphered as an important piece in the jigsaw puzzle that is Mr Bush's administration.

An analyst could explain Mr Chertoff's appointment by the simple fact—as this writer tried to do in his opinion piece on page 10 of the Jan. 17 issue of this paper—that Israel totally controls this administration and that the United States of America is a client state of Israel, just the opposite of the sophomoric notion that Israel is a client state of the United States.

However, that is not the point of this column, which is that in the event of another "terrorist attack" on the United States, Mr Chertoff will exercise the powers given the administration by the two so-called "Patriot Acts"—which Chertoff himself helped craft—to assume unprecedented police powers over the entire country; even to arresting and dragging persons who may object to his unconstitutional authority to concentration camps. In its issue of April 23, 1984, The Spotlight reported on the establishment of "ten huge prison camps" in the United States, codenamed "Rex 84."

In this nation's brief history, sad to say, we have fought only two legitimate wars, the Revolution and the War of 1812, both against the British. Every other has been conjured up by the "military-industrial-complex", to quote President Dwight D Eisenhopwer: the politicians, bankers and industrialists who handsomely profit from what Gen Smedley Butler named as the biggest racket of all—war—a business almost infinitely bigger and bloodier than anything any mafioso has ever dreamed of.

Wars also have the major advantage from the politicians' standpoint, that is, of making the federal government more powerful and giving them the money to spend to continue the cycle of war, spending and taxing. Thus, while preaching and promising peace, politicians—especially presidents —make war by any subterfuge they can manufacture. Wilson had his Lusitania, Roosevelt his Pearl Harbor, Johnson his Tonkin Gulf, Bush senior had his Kuwait and junior his twin towers. Revisionists historians—as distinguished from "court historians", to use the phrase of Harry Elmer Barnes— know that all of the above were managed provocations for the purpose of a good war.

The beginning of political wisdom is to understand how this "democracy" really works. And could it be that America's future—once so bright and promising—is Russia's past—a police state with commissars, jailers, torturers and executioners eerily reminiscent of Stalin's tyranny?

RA Rieger war noch nicht bei ihm. Was Ernst benötigt, sind Briefmarken, vor allem nach Übersee! Aus dem Ausland ist es das Beste, wenn man ihm den "internationalen Rückantwortschein" für Luftpostbriefe schickt, den man überall im Ausland kaufen kann; je drei in einem Brief dürfen geschickt werden. - Mittlerweile hat er bereits Malstifte erhalten.

1. “I have received a telephone report on a visit to Ernst, which took place yesterday, in fact. The two ladies who visited him say Ernst is in very good shape, considering the circumstances, in fact better than in Canada. He already settled in. He has a cell to himself, and is permitted to go outside for fresh air for an hour every day in the hard. He also has free periods. A Protestant clergyman has already paid a visit. … He feels well looked after and the meals are good German cooking.

An official is present during the visit. Yesterday’s visit was very nice and friendly. One is not permitted to speak about any possible trial.

Attorney Rieger has not yet been to see him.

What Ernst needs are German postage stamps particularly for letters to send abroad. For foreigners, it is best to send him international postage coupons for airmail. Dear Yvonne, René, Robert and Jean!

I am still suffering from a shortage of stamps! I can only purchase ten 55 cents internal European stamps every two weeks. But one letter to Ingrid or my Canadian or U.S. lawyers takes two stamps to make sure the letters are sent Air Mail - otherwise they take 6-8 weeks by regular mail. In Canada I sent up to 55-60 letters a week - so you can imagine my shock and frustration with this arrangement. Friends are now sending me some stamps, and so far the judge who has to censor my mail has let them through. Thus I have been able to spare a few stamps for special people like you !

Would you please tell Jean, your brother, that I got his letter, and thank him for the offer to pay me a visit?

Here is my dilemma: [In a month], I am allowed only two 30-minutes visitors (up to three can come into the room), no gifts, no money, nothing can be given to me and vice-versa. An official listener, a person in uniform, sits within 1-2 yards and listens to all, interjects with suggestions, advice, etc. in a jovial, friendly and civilized way - but it gives you an idea of the ambiance of the situation.

So, as much as I would love to see and get to know Jean, I think I'd better reserve my visiting hours for potential witnesses. After my conviction, I can use up my meager visitors' quota for private visits. But for now I am still « on duty, » and must once more sacrifice my private desires on the altar of the cause of Freedom and Truth in History.

As you can see, I have a real pen ! I have already used up to three ball-point pens, which last exactly between 40-45 pages, but they cost only 35 cents. I have bought 10 ball-point pens; we are allowed to shop in a kind of self-serve store in the prison for our personal needs every two weeks.

This is needed, because the German system is odd! There is only one warm meal a day at noon. Then at night there are about five pieces of dark or rye bread - boy, do I love and cherish that German bread! - and some two slices of cheese or sausage. That has to last for the evening meal and the next morning's breakfast. We make our own tea or coffee, in a one litre stainless-steel tea/coffee-pot using an electric immersion heater, which each inmate has to buy for ¤ 9.95.

The coffee we have to buy at the prison store. I have been given some tea bags by the staff. That's an arrangement which really suits me fine, because I hated the supersweetened slop, like colored dish water, served in Canada and the U.S.A. as beverage - lukewarm, and often one could not tell, was it tea or coffee? Disgusting stuff !

The food here is very German - Hallelujah! Like my mother's cooking - better quality and larger quantities than in Canada. The portions in the U.S.A. were criminally small. Imagine that! The U.S. prisoners were always hungry - it was a constant refrain. And the food was of no nutritional value Š things like supersweet cereals, cornflakes, hot dogs, hamburgers half as [large] as at McDonald's.

So definitely this is an improvement! A vast improvement !

But the drawbacks are only two visits a month, with permission from the judge needed, and details to be given in advance as to name, address, etc. - and the most disgusting thing is only one phone call of five minutes a month allowed. Poor Ingrid must be frantic! I do not know how she will cope with that for the next five years or more!

While I am in investigative custody - which could be for many months - I am allowed no phone calls whatsoever, not even to the lawyer, which on the face of it would seem to be illegal by international norms?

I am investigating that.

The staff here are cordial and efficient - genuinely nice, humane Germans - one more reason not to believe in those horror stories of nasty behavior by these people's fathers and grandfathers. They simply could not be that evil - it is not in their nature. I was right in my instincts, even as a young man - the Germans are innocent!

My cell was occupied before - so other inmates told me - by the father of tennis star Stefie Graf who allegedly cheated on his income taxes. It's a nice cell! I have my own internal light-switch. I can completely turn the light off. I have my own large window to get fresh air, open 24 hours a day. I have my own white, modern, porcelain toilet and a very large and modern wash-basin. There is an intercom where I can call central control in case of an emergency.

And I have a built-in, two-station radio - the programs of which are so disgusting (white, i.e. German rap music) that I turned it on for less than five minutes and never again.

I could rent or buy a color T.V. There are provisions for it in my cell. Udo Walendy offered to cover the cost - I could hardly believe his generosity. I gratefully declined, because I have gotten used to my « Martin Luther at the Wartburg »-like existence in blissful solitude. I can hear crows in the morning, sea-gulls (the Neckar river is appr. 200 meters away) and then hear the purring and cooing of doves outside. Nice, idyllic!

I attended a Protestant church service last Sunday and a Catholic one this morning. Nice organ music - and priest and minister both have nice singing voices. I also saw Mel Gibson's film, The Passion of Christ, thanks to our highly alert Protestant minister who wrote a scathing letter in the prisoners' in-house Newsletter, criticising the German banks for their greed and profit-making while firing another 4,000 workers, lamenting their a-social, anti-social behaviour. He sounded about as close to N.S. as one can come to in today's Germany - so naturally I had to meet and get to know him better!

He is disturbed by some aspects of the Bible, like the story of Abraham about to sacrifice Isaac to obey God's will, and he used Ingrid's and my own arguments out loud in church, during his own sermon - about what kind of God (supposedly loving God) would « stress out » a father with the request to murder his own son!

Wow! Donnerwetter! as my mother would have said.

Now there is a man still able to think for himself after 8 years of seminary brain-washing! That's amazing! He does not know it yet - but he already is a revisionist, for the moment only of Bible texts. He also had a very interesting slant on Mel Gibson's film. And he was visibly taken aback by the Romanian and Polish prisoners' virulent condemnation of « the Jews » after they saw that horrific, monstrous anti-Roman film !

I did not like that film at all. I think it is a disgusting and very poor film. I am shocked that Mel Gibson would produce such a sick, sadistic, sado-masochistic [feature]. The torture scenes were far, far too graphic, interminably and unnecessarily long. The idiotic nonsense of letting the high priests and Jesus talk in Hebrew or old Aramaic and Pontius Pilate in Latin offended me to NO end. It made the film cumbersome, pedestrian. It was unnecessary, and added no authenticity to an already highly unlikely, unbelievable, typically Middle-Eastern fairy tale. I will not see that movie again and will remain highly critical of it. It's a disgusting piece of Hollywood.

But - I am very, very grateful to that Protestant minister to allow me to see it in these unlikely surroundings, for it allowed me an insight into him that I would not otherwise have had.

What an amazing life I lead - sometimes I can only shake my head about the surreality of it all.

I must also report to you that medical care and dental care was better and swifter than in Toronto - where they would not allow me my tooth-brush or tooth-paste in my cell, which caused me gum problems due to their lousy bread and vitamin- deficient food. I had asked for a medical mouthwash in Canada for over 1 1/2 years. They never allowed it to me. Twice they gave me a saltwater rinse in a small paper cup. I was not yet in Germany for 14 hours, and only 30 minutes in this prison, and the doctor immediately prescribed herbal, oil based, highly concentrated mentholated drops, which gave me enormous relief after a few days. I was also given a full length regular tooth brush and toothpaste, a comb, shampoo, soap, two towels, a face-cloth in my cell - all things I had not had in Canada.

I was also given shaving soap and several razors to use and to keep in my cell.

My cell door has no window [where] I can be snooped at and observed 24 hours a day around the clock. I am also allowed 1 hour each morning in the large prison yard - together with other prisoners - not alone in a 15 x 20 square-meter enclosure for 10 minutes, observed by 3 uniformed guards like in Canada. In the U.S.A. I saw no daylight and no fresh air while I was there from the 5th Feb. to the 19th Feb. 2003.

Also : Within less than two weeks I was given my very own pencil sharpener, denied me in Canada for two years and one month! And I just got a water-colour paint box with 24 colors, along with 15 different brushes, of course of the very cheapest quality for school children. It is the principle involved ! I asked for two years for colors. Ingrid sent me colors and brushes. I was never allowed this luxury.

So when the times come for my reparations from Canada - as they will, when the current rotten, corrupt system will have collapsed - my grievances will be pursued by me against my tormentors on both sides of the Atlantic with typically un-Schwabian vengeance and passion. I am to be compensated in exactly the same generous style, and quantity, as the Jews were compensated by Germany - not one cent and not one apology less! That much prison has accomplished in me - it has given me the steely resolve I lacked before!

As Savitri Devi said of A.H. - he was too much Sun and not enough Lightning. Well, I suffered from the same typically German shortcoming. My enemies have cured me of that, and I am still being hammered on the anvil of history into that rare, fine steel necessary for victory.

Nietzsche correctly said « Was mich nicht umbringt macht mich stärker ». [Whatever doesn't kill me, makes me stronger] Prison certainly has had this effect on me.

Before I close, let me ask all of you for your input, especially Robert's and some of the scholarly and famous people Robert and you, Yvonne, know. I need to know what you think I should do, how I should react or conduct myself - given the German context of our time, and the Draconian legal constraints operating in Germany. Your ideas, your input, your contributions are herewith sought - I mean this seriously. We are facing a very different situation than in the past. We are facing a far more desperate, and a very insecure enemy - for they can see that their W.W. II and post-W.W. II alliances and financial order are creaking in all joints. New realities are arising. New political alignments are taking shape. This is not the time for one more recounting, in yet another court room, what I have proclaimed for over a quarter of a century to an indifferent, brain-washed world.

So let me know what you would do if you were faced by my situation, given the legal situation and the « Zeitgeist » prevailing in Germany in the year 2005! Now is the time to stick together, to share news, not to panic, not to overreact.

I had two years to reflect on my life's path and on my life's work - I made only one major mistake and that was [a previous brief marriage]! However, I learned painful lessons from that, which I will not forget for the rest of my life. The rest ? Given the chance, I would travel the same road again, only more wisely in the choice of associates, less liberal, less naive. This time I would be tougher, less forgiving to friend and foe - and expect even higher standards of them and of myself.

One word of caution :

Do not contemplate [coming] anywhere near Germany, for the fever is still raging. It must first run its course. It makes no sense for Robert to even contemplate to come and testify! The German authorities do not lack knowledge of the truth in history - they only lack the courage and the intestinal fortitude. In other words, collectively they lack the courage, the will and, above all, the character to step forward and say « Bis hierher und nicht weiter ». [To here and no farther !]Thus your contribution of one more testimony to the truth will not cure them of their lack of courage, will and character - in fact, it will convince them only of the power of their enemies, who have been able to defend a historical chimera for over 60 years so ruthlessly !

Please tell all our friends, Ingrid please, too, and Jacqueline B., that all is well, and that I will write to each in turn as postage permits. That's a promise!

I am thinking about you ! And I want to thank all of you for the many, many kindnesses and material, intellectual, and physical help to me in my arduous life's path - especially the last 20-25 years.

Canada’s second most famous political prisoner Brad Love, sentenced in July, 2003 to 18 months in prison for “hate” for sending letters to MPs and the York Region Chief of Police (poor sensitive dear) critical of immigration, had been back in prison for alleged breaches of probation since March 2. On Thursday, at his third bail hearing, Mr. Love was sent back to prison pending, of all things, a “psychiatric” assessment. The Crown had previously accepted then rejected an offer of $250,000 bail – absurd when, as Mr. Love’s lawyer Peter Lindsay, noted people accused of attempted murder often are released on $100,000 bail.

Clearly in politically correct Absurdistan, a peaceful letter-writing immigration critic is far more a threat to a corrupt state than a murderer.

The usual morning: Three cups of coffee, shower, shave, clean cell, 15-minute yard in a small closure, weighed by the doc, back in my cell for the rest of the day. And the only tidbit of real news I have heard is that Robert Blake won his case. You know why? Answer: The jury liked him, understood him, sympathised with him and he was out of custody, which signalled to the jury that you cannot possibly be guilty if you are out about. And you have much more time and leeway to huddle with your lawyer to build your case.

Here in Canada, it is a completely different story. You are usually held in custody, paraded into the court room in cuffs, placed in a separate and often fortified enclosure to be watched over by more guards. Gee, seeing this kind of drama, is it safe to say you are doomed from the start.

3/22/2005, Tuesday.

I wrote to the GLOBE AND MAIL'S Christie Blachford today giving her a rundown of my case and hunger strike, etc. Her story today in the GLOBE AND MAIL was in regards to an Asian grow-op guy who is now before the courts. No connection to my situation, of course, but I just thought she should be made more aware just how wacky our court system really is. I also wrote to the GLOBE'S Kirk Makin, their justice reporter, to give him a run down of my situation. The GLOBE AND MAIL, which I bought this week, is the one paper that seems to go without the politically correct, mulitcultural mumbo-jumbo, that THE SUN and STAR have and simply puts forth the meat of the story, knowing full well the readers are smart enough to sort things out themselves. Either way, jail/crime/political battles always sell papers.

3/25/2005, Friday.

Yesterday, high-cost bail was riding short of a public lynching. I do not think I was even seated in the prisoner's box before the judge started in on me. I have to give him credit, though, for, unlike others, he did not even try to hide his animosity or his preconceived notions of me. I am sure others in the court must have been taken aback by such a display of shameless hostility. My own family members sat in shocked silence wondering if he was talking about the guy seated in the box. Peter Lindsey did his best but in the long and winding end, it was decided, I should be seen by a shrink to see what danger I posed should I be released. Peter Lindsey reminded the court I was being held on probation offences, none of which were connected to any sort of violence. But as it is in Mother Russia, anyone who dares to be critical of the state, must, therefore, be crazy and kept away from the public for the benefit of all. I tell you, if Canada had the equivalent of a Siberian labor camp, I would be in it now. So I am held until the doctor sees me (at my own expense) and I return to court April 2nd for final say. Incredible! It is hard to talk about what kind of money this is costing me. Lawyers, transcripts, doctors, rent, assorted bills, but as a nonworking construction worker, I see no real end or victory in this. They are slowly ruining me and know it.

By the way, as of today, they have moved me back to a regular range. I am not sure why, but in jail, nothing makes sense. My cell mate is a wild-eyed dude who claims Pierre Trudeau owes him money. As I said, nothing makes sense! As a footnote to my hearing, Paul, I am in agreement to what you said at your own hearing with the Teacher's Federation. There is virtually no humor, levity or anything remotely humanizing. Everything is stern, brim full of insincerity and meaningless niceties knee deep in political correctness with the entire cast of characters feigning frailties, sensitivity and "Gee, I'm shocked to hear such harsh language!" old-biddie behaviour. I mean, what world did these helpless phoneys grow up in? Have they never visited a comedy club or experienced the no-holds-barred type of humor therein? Have they ever watched an Eddie Murphy comedy or comedy duo video, for gosh sakes? And the bleeped-out hilarity of Jerry Springer, Howard Stern or those comedy specials on the Black network? Does all this send them into epileptic fits of "How dare they?" conniptions. This being Saturday, March 26, I read in today's GLOBE AND MAIL of how Asian gangs in B.C.'s lower mainland are viciously attacking people on the streets. No arrests yet but you just know that the "hate squad" out there is swinging into action. Yeah, right!

And in Drummondville, Quebec, police are posted outside a school that is daring to teach kids English and, thus, the school's founder, Yvon Courcy, has received threats. But, hey, kids, let's put the guy who points out the nightmares of multiculturalism in jail and then maybe the real clear and present dangers will simply go away by themselves. Oh, and the Easter bunny is standing outside of my cell door as well! Now, do you feel all warm and fuzzy? Of course, once or fair friend and Jewish justice minister Irwin Cotler has put everyone that he suspects of having "terrorist links" (could that mean me?) under house arrest or wearing ankle bracelets, Canada will truly be in line with the East Bloc way of life we are all aiming for. You'd think that a guy like Cotler, who is not shy about being outspoken, though he comes down hard on others who are, would simply shut our immigration doors to solve our Air India/Mahgreb-type of terror problem, but Oh, No, he avoids the obvious to chase butterflies in a field, using a net with a big hole in it. A combination of 36 cockroach bombs and an oven pilot light has blown apart a Thai restaurant in Perth, injuring three men, two seriously.

A massive explosion rocked suburban Duncraig when chemicals released during Wednesday night's do-it-yourself fumigation ignited, blowing out the back wall and lifting the roof off the Tamarind restaurant. The blast caused an estimated $500,000 damage, fire authorities said. The restaurant owner and two staff members had closed the premises to set off 36 insect control bombs throughout the building. Eight would have been enough, said West Australian police and fire and emergency personnel.

Investigators said they believed a pilot light in one of the restaurant's ovens ignited the huge amount of chemicals released by the bombs to kill insects such as fleas and cockroaches. The three men, who had reached the restaurant's front door when the explosion occurred, were hospitalised with burns. John McMillan, manager of WA's fire investigations unit, said the pressure wave from the blast was powerful enough to lift the roof off the building. "The restaurant owner has used the principle that if you use twice the soap, you get your hands twice as clean. He's just overdone it," Mr McMillan said. "This could have been a tragedy, although the men have been hospitalised it does not look as bad as first thought. "This (cockroach bomb) is a good product, but this incident shows if you don't read the manufacturer's instructions, there can be very serious consequences." WA police said all three men were treated at Royal Perth Hospital for burns.

Two of the men remained in the hospital's burns unit, with one suffering burns to 45 per cent of his body. The third went home after treatment. Duncraig fire station officer Kieran Cooper said crews arrived to find the building devastated.

"The back wall's been blown out, the front window's been blown out, the ceilings caved down, there's extra wires hanging down, it's pretty [much] all a mess, probably close to $500,000 damage," Mr Cooper told ABC radio. Mr Cooper said the force of the blast could be felt hundreds of metres away. "It's only a couple of hundred metres from our fire station and we were sitting in the fire station and actually felt the explosion, the whole of the station seemed to shake."

Labour MP John Tamihere says he is "sick and tired of hearing how many Jews got gassed".

The comments - branded yesterday by the Jewish Council as "sickening" and "deeply shocking for all Jews" - were made in the same interview in which Mr Tamihere referred to Cabinet minister Chris Carter as a "tosser" and "queer" and Cabinet minister Steve Maharey as "smarmy". They were released yesterday by Investigate magazine editor Ian Wishart after a spat with Mr Tamihere about the recording of the interview.
Alerted yesterday to the remark, Prime Minister Helen Clark said through a spokesman that while the government understood the pain the comment caused the Jewish community, she was certain Mr Tamihere meant no offence.

In the interview, Mr Tamihere is asked by Mr Wishart about how a society can be focused on injustices of the past.

Mr Tamihere responds: "The Wiesenthal Institute is the same. I’m sick and tired of hearing how many Jews got gassed, not because I’m not revolted by it - I am - or I’m not violated by it - I am - but because I already know that.

David Zwartz, president of the New Zealand Jewish Council, said Mr Tamihere’s comment was sickening for New Zealand Jews who suffered in the Holocaust and whose families were gassed.

"It is deeply shocking for all other Jews, as was the earlier trivialising of the Holocaust by Mrs Tariana Turia. Jews have no desire to make Mr Tamihere or anyone feel guilty, we only want to have the historic truth known and understood so discrimination and oppression leading to genocide won’t happen again."

Victoria University political scientist Dr Jon Johansson said he was sure Ms Clark would have been appalled by the comment. "The Holocaust aspect - there is no redemptive quality to that thought. It contributes nothing, it pollutes our discourse," he said. "The prime minister and the party are on the horns of a dilemma, where they have to weigh up principle against the practical reality of risking losing the already fragile blue-collar vote. "It does look like the final straw - and it’s tinder dry."

Mr Wishart decided to release the comments after it emerged Mr Tamihere and one other person had returned to Soljans Cafe in West Auckland to talk to staff about the recording of the interview. The Agenda programme was contacted by a "source close to Mr Tamihere" offering tape recordings of staff who apparently said there was no recording device on the table when the MP lunched with Mr Wishart.

Tony Soljan, managing director of Soljans Estate Winery, said yesterday Mr Tamihere and the other person had talked to staff, who had asked that any conversation with them not be recorded. Mr Soljan said his staff felt "let down" when it emerged they had been taped.

Mr Wishart said the attempted "cover-up" by Mr Tamihere meant further excerpts would be released. He would also be lodging a complaint with TVNZ over its handling of the issue on Agenda yesterday.

Last night, Mr Tamihere refused to comment, although confirmed he had returned to the winery and spoken to staff. He said he believed they were happy to be taped.

In a later conversation, Mr Tamihere said he was glad the comments were out now so Mr Wishart didn’t get another edition out of the interview.

Well my last message resulted in annoyance from some Germans whom I have communicated with for daring to mention past atrocities committed against the German people during W.W. 2. Maybe it's because I also mentioned that the world sorrows for an old Pope but very little for those millions that suffered and died in an unnecessary war called W.W.II. Germany paid a terrible price for seeking rectification of the deadly Treaty of Versailles and whether it was Chancellor Hitler or some other German Chancellor the cycle of events would have been the same. The world held the German people in contempt and disdain and that was evident in the continued blockade after W.W. 1, and the brutal French occupation of the Rhineland that they always coveted.

The old Germans always understood this very well and emphasized their understanding in their motto's and songs about "Die Wacht am Rhine." I have said before that had the Allies not feared the Russians there would have been millions of Germans that would have been starved to death under the Morganthau Plan. Today the plan is to racially destroy Europe with massive immigration and thus racially dilute the European people in consonance with the new world order. The same process is going on in the U.S.

Now let me digress a bit. The Allies of W.W. 2, believe the whole world belongs to them because of commercial trade, stock exchanges, and bought politicians, but nothing could be further from the truth. The arrogant behavior of the west including the bringing of N.A.T.O. to the Russian frontier and interfering with former Russian areas of influence has made an enemy of that country and will have far reaching consequences. That will be quite evident with the summer joint military maneuvers between Russia and China.

The fools cannot see what they have wrought. Nor can they perceive the arrogance of their Mid East policies designed to accommodate Israel and the petroleum industry. Incidentally the vaunted E.U. will last only until the coming war for the Russians cannot nor will they permit a united Europe that can threaten their security.

We cannot change history, but it should never be forgotten because the world is at the threshold of another conflict of unimaginable scope. If past history was truly understood then it would not be difficult to realize that all the signs of a coming nuclear war are quite evident. Many will say that we cannot live in perpetual fear and there is little that can be done so lets all live in happy land till Armageddon arrives. My advice to the air heads would be to plan a safe place for your loved ones. Stock up on medications and food that is non perishable. If possible buy a small farm or arrange a community farm far from danger zones even if it's used as a summer camp for youth.

I truly hope that another war never comes because I had and seen enough during W.W. 2. However I do believe my hopes are in vain. Now I know some will think I am just trying to frighten a lot of good folk if that is so then I have accomplished a worthy goal.
