ISLAMABAD, Pakistan—Next to her bad Collagen-injected facelift job, Nancy Pelosi has given us one of the worst lessons in deceitful diplomacy on behalf of the United States. Pelosi, who is third in line of power in Washington after George Bush and Dick Cheney, flew halfway around the world to our neighborhood last week. Her mission? To further stoke the fire in China’s Tibet.

Tibet is striking a nerve in Islamabad because it is a classic example of the oldest trick in modern espionage: a host country, India, facilitates a superpower, the United States, to use Indian soil to create and sustain ethnic unrest in Tibet, China’s backwater joined at the hip with India.

For Islamabad, it’s déjà vu. Last year, a calculated U.S. media blitz and suspected espionage helped American strategists plead the case for military intervention in Pakistan. A false case was built around Pakistani nukes. Now it’s Beijing’s turn. And the pretext is Tibet which erupted in flames surprisingly just in time to tarnish China’s impressive 2008 Olympic preparations.

We in Pakistan are too busy to pay attention. But let’s remember: The politicization of the 1936 Berlin Olympics by the United States and Britain helped spark a world war three years later. Washington is convinced that China’s economic rise is undermining its political and economic hegemony. China must be drawn into a conflict sooner than later.

This is not a false alarm. Tibet can never emerge as an issue without the primary western support. The only non-western country playing a dirty role in this charade is India, host to the wily Dalai Lama, aptly described by the people who know him as a ‘wolf in a monk’s garb.’

Led by the Americans, the western bloc is all set to spoil the Beijing Olympics. The western rhetoric over Tibet is just a smokescreen that hides a disgustingly larger agenda that goes as far as stopping Chinese investments in African oilfields, where the Americans and the British are dazed at how the Chinese have outspent them on buying up oil concessions.

As soon as the riots erupted in Tibet, Ms. Pelosi, the first woman speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, dashed to New Delhi to meet the Dalai Lama. No question here about how urgent the matter is for U.S. foreign policy. More nauseating was her self-righteous sermon on Tibet. “If freedom loving people throughout the world do no speak out,” she said, “we have lost all moral authority to speak on human rights anywhere in the world.” This coming from a country that stands culpable for the murder of almost 300,000 Iraqis in five years of brutal American occupation.

Once Ms. Pelosi set the tone, ganging up on China was just a matter of tactics. John McCain, quietly being groomed by Mr. Bush to take the reigns in Washington, leaving Obama and Clinton to slug it out till death, was quick to say in Paris that “mistreatment” in Tibet was an “unacceptable conduct for a world power.” Says who? The United States?

And now it’s getting outright dirty. Britain’s former defense minister, Michael Portillo, a celebrated gay who bowed out after a scandal in the 1990s, turned on Sunday into a Mafiosi and openly asked western countries to blackmail China using Tibet against the Olympics. In a London newspaper, he came out with this headline, ‘Tibet: the West can use the Olympics as a weapon against Beijing.”

Opening a new front to punish China’s economic might, and as a proof that this anti-China campaign is deeply malicious, Steven Spielberg, hired by the Chinese as a creative consultant for the opening ceremony of the Olympics, resigned from the assignment to protest China’s huge investments in oilfields in Sudan. Mr. Spielberg’s excuse is that Sudan is embroiled in Darfur.

Of course no American journalist will ask Mr. Spielberg how come his snub to China is calculated to coincide with the Tibet riots? Surely he could have taken this principled stand before getting his advance payment from the Chinese government. Darfur is an old story after all. Nothing new about Hollywood becoming another discreet instrument of U.S. foreign policy.

This blackmail against China is so widespread that ‘report cards’ are being issued in the U.S. giving failing grades to companies that sponsor Beijing Olympics and don’t take a stand over Darfur, the oil-rich part of Sudan that Washington wants to see separated, to protect human rights of course.

The hypocritical posturing by the bigwigs – Ms. Pelosi, Mr. Spielberg, and Mr. McCain – hides the ugly reality of what the Dalai Lama and his U.S.-sponsored separatists have done during the Tibet riots. They burned five young waitresses alive in a restaurant. They snatched a young Chinese boy from his father, put him on the ground and then stomped on his chest and abdomen. An ethnic Tibetan doctor who tried to save the Chinese boy’s life was beaten by Dalai Lama’s insurgents. The Tibetan doctor is hospitalized in Lhasa, the Tibetan capital. The kid couldn’t make it. How about the infant who was burned alive in her parents’ apartment set on fire by the separatists? Ms. Pelosi won’t see this of course. The agenda trumps everything else.

And please don’t believe the U.S. propaganda depicting the riots as some kind of a Tibetan backlash against Chinese oppression. Lhasa, the Tibetan capital, is far ahead in modernization than India’s biggest northern cities across the border. This is the place where China spent a staggering U.S. $ 4.1 billion just to build the world’s highest rail track, a luxury service stretching 1,142km from Beijing to Lhasa. It’s part of an elaborate Chinese vision to ‘open up’ the country’s sparsely populated western regions and make them key to China’s growth in the 21st century.

The western focus now is to push the Chinese government to make one wrong move so that Washington and other ‘allied’ governments could drag Beijing into a costly confrontation. The good news is that no Chinese citizen, even those third- or fourth-generation Americans, joined this anti-China campaign. Over the weekend, only 150 anti-China protesters showed up at a park in California. That’s less than the customers of any Chinese restaurant in San Francisco’s ‘Little China’.

In Pakistan, we should be worried at this fresh push to corner China. It is in our interest not to allow this. And the best way to do it is through diplomacy and media. With the massive failures of our state-run media, the onus lies with Pakistan’s vibrant independent television networks to help spread the message. They will get their chance on April 16, when the Olympic torch reaches Islamabad.

Last year, they destabilized us. Today it’s China. The tactics are the same. Let’s keep our eyes open.

HAVE we all been looking the wrong way on Iran, wondering when the United States or Israel will give up on its defiant President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and launch a pre-emptive strike at his suspected nuclear weapons facilities?

A different kind of strike may be on the way. It's already been tested against North Korea and Burma, and it worked. Now the US may be getting ready to drop its financial atom bomb on the much bigger target of Iran.

The warning came last week in an advisory notice posted by the US Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network or FinCEN, titled "Guidance to Financial Institutions on the Continuing Money Laundering Threat Involving Illicit Iranian Activity".

In it, Washington's Treasury in effect accuses Iran's banking system, up to and including its central bank, of being complicit in money laundering associated with nuclear weapons proliferation and terrorism. The Treasury is warning banks worldwide to think twice about doing any business with 51 state-owned and seven private Iranian banks involved in foreign operations.

"Through state-owned banks, the Government of Iran disguises its involvement in proliferation and terrorism activities specifically designed to evade detection," it says, accusing Bank Markazi, the central bank, of helping disguise suspect transactions and helping sanctioned commercial banks continue to do business.

The notice is being interpreted in some quarters as a prelude to a blacklisting of all Iranian banks under the US Patriot Act's Section 311 powers, requiring all American financial institutions to sever ties with them.

While American banks don't do business with Iran - in Iran the only international credit card you can use is Mastercard, set up by British banks - the effect of such a ban is much wider. Banks from other countries also shy away from the sanctioned outfits, for fear of being contaminated in the eyes of American regulators.

Tay Za, the pre-eminent business crony of the Burmese military regime, found this to his cost after being put on the "Specifically Designated Nationals List" of the US Treasury along with other regime figures after the suppressed popular uprising last September.

Immediately after the listing, a widely circulated email attributed to his 19-year-old son, Htet Tay Za, boasted: "[The] US bans us, we're still f--king cool in Singapore. We're sitting on the whole Burma GDP. We've got timber, gems and gas to be sold to other countries like Singapore, China, India and Russia."

Not long after, a Singapore bank pulled its lines of credit to Tay Za's Air Bagan for the purchase of two Airbus jets, and his hopes of expanding the airline internationally were grounded. Although Singapore is not obliged to follow US sanctions, its banks evidently saw a risk to their US and international business from having sanctioned Burmese individuals and businesses on their books.

Earlier, in September 2005, the US Treasury applied a Section 311 listing to Macau's Banco Delta Asia for allegedly helping North Korea launder funds and pass fake $US100 bills. The ensuing run on the bank forced it to cut all business with North Korea and scared many other foreign banks away.

Neither Burma nor North Korea are at all significant in world trade or financial flows. Iran is another matter, ranking as the world's fourth-biggest oil producer and exporter, and with $US125 billion ($135 billion) in its total trade, according to 2006 figures.

What would happen to these oil flows and this trade if the Americans succeed in dragooning banks worldwide away from providing the finance?

Presumably some of the trade could be directed via intermediaries such as the Gulf states. But the Gulf sheikdoms are all US protectorates heavily dependent on American goodwill.

Could there be a rebellion against US financial system domination, say by China, which is increasingly reliant on oil from Iran and some other countries out of Western favour?

Unlikely: so far China has not used its veto against United Nations Security Council resolutions that have steadily tightened financial sanctions on Iran. The latest, on March 3, specifically called member states to "exercise vigilance" on Iranian banks, including the two largest commercial banks, Bank Melli and Bank Saderat.

A Tokyo-based financial analyst (in the always interesting website japanfocus.org), John McGlynn, said Iranian trade officials started complaining openly in December that Chinese banks were refusing to open new letters of credit.

It's not another war in the Middle East, but how it affects Iran's already faltering economy and its paranoid-minded ruling clique of Revolutionary Guards and mullahs we don't know. As pressure it will be powerful, and like the atom bomb, the collateral damage could be extensive.

During the Vietnam era, the United States eagerly supported the regime of Ngo Dinh Diem, a man who brutally oppressed the Buddhists; yet today our government has risen in defense of the Dalai Lama and Tibet. Has our sordid history finally led to compassion for the people of Tibet? One must wonder which people we want to protect for there are 41 races in Tibet, including Tibetan, Menpa, Luopa, Han Chinese, Hui, Sherpa, Deng, and so on; although by far, the majority are Tibetans. Perhaps the US is reaching out to the Dalai Lama - again?

It seems that the US government excels at propaganda for it continues to win over the very people it has betrayed and caused to be killed; buying their trust, it offers a friendship that is only self-serving. Oblivious to the past havoc wreaked by the CIA in Tibet, the innocent gather around the storm, stare into the eye, ready to be sucked into it. Not too long ago, the Truman administration attempted to use the young Dalai Lama against China's new Communist regime. The CIA offered to provide him financial support as part of the deal. Its subsidies to the Dalai Lama lasted, at an unspecified level, until 1974. However, the CIA officials seem to have misled the Tibetans into thinking they had American support for the establishment of an independent Tibet[i]. They did not.

Once again, the Tibetans are thinking they have the support of the United States. It should be mentioned that such names as Tom Lantos (a Holocaust survivor) endorsed the promotion of a free Tibet. He also promoted the International Campaign for Tibet, a campaign which receives grants from the National Endowment for Democracy – a State Department operation which engages non-suspecting NGOs to openly do what the CIA did/does. Neoconservative queen, Jean Kilpatrick was pushing The Committee of 100 for Tibet with artists such as Richard Gere as unsuspecting fronts[ii]

What is the reason behind America’s sudden interest in Tibet, the Buddhist ideology of 1649 Dalai Lama preserving animal and nature (we certainly could be preserving nature at home) or is it what is under nature? Tibet has the world’s largest reserve of uranium, and in addition to gold and copper, large quantities of oil and gas were discovered in Qiangtang Basin in western China's remote Tibet area[iii]. A friendly Dalai Lama would help reimburse the CIA subsidies, and much more.

There are other more important factors. Israel’s interest is undeniable. In fact, they have been helping this ancient green land with ‘agriculture techniques’ in recent years[iv]. Elie Wiesel, Nobel Laureate and Holocaust survivor, is recruiting fellow Nobel winners to press China on Tibet. Other notables such as Spielberg have already cooperated, and Sarkozy is considering boycotting the Olympics. One has to ask why these humanitarians are not concerned with the well-being of 1.4 million Palestinians described by the UN and the ICRC as being subjected to worst possible human disaster witnessed.

China has always shown reluctance to impose sanctions on Iran. From an Israeli and American perspective, China became a veritable short-term liability (versus a long term power challenging the US) when Iran and China engaged in talks to allow for a military base for China in one of Iran’s Persian Gulf ports. This was in response to Sarkozy making an announcement that France and the UAE were negotiating a deal in which France would have a small base in that region. Such a cooperation between Iran and China would make Iran less vulnerable to an attack by Israel and/or the United States.

Engaging China in a Tibet uprising, threatening the public image it has worked so hard to build around the world (China has far surpassed the United States in Public Diplomacy. During the G.W. Bush presidency, while the world watched in dismay an do-it-alone America that made a blunder at every turn, China, in spite of human rights issues that remain to be resolved, has won ‘hearts and minds’ in South America, Middle East, and Africa. It is attempting to win over its regional neighbors by developing economic, political, and diplomatic relations, and exercising skillful diplomacy) would distract or dissuade it from building alliances with Iran. Iran must be kept isolated at all costs.

Tel-Aviv hopes that Cheney will push Bush to launch a military attack on Iran, just as he persuaded Bush to attack Iraq. Given that the Iraq tactics are old, new ones have to be sought. As such, many experts suspect that a false flag operation would be required to launch an all out war. In October 2006, when Anti-terrorism officials conducted a helicopter survey of New York City's radiation sources in preparation for a so-called "dirty bomb" attack, they came across an unexpected radiation hot spot which has been kept out of the media as it is a political hot spot – A strong radiation spike from the area of the Israeli Embassy. Officials would not comment on why they thought that particular area showed such a stunning peak in radiation[v].

Can America afford another war? Will the world withstand another assault on humanity?

In 1787, George Washington said: “The power under the Constitution will always be in the people. It is entrusted for certain defined purposes, and for a certain limited period, to representatives of their own choosing; and whenever it is executed contrary to their interest, or not agreeable to their wishes, their servants can, and undoubtedly will, be recalled.”

Let us recall our servants who do not represent us, who do not serve our interest, and who are killing in our name.

RACIST AMERICA

Jesse Owens, a fine athlete, was an American, a country whose racism would have made a stormtrooper blush. The contrast between the two countries would have been quite remarkable for this humble and likeable ex-cotton picker.

In Hitler's Germany Jesse Owens could share a bus or tram ride with white people. Treated equally before the law he could visit a cinema or church with whites, use public toilets and dine in restaurants, stay in hotels without any discrimination being shown towards him. There was much that he could do in The Third Reich that was forbidden to him back home in racist America.

In the United States Negro athletes were required to eat apart from their white fellow athletes. If they were allowed to share the same hotel at all, which was unlikely, it would be necessary for them to use the tradesmen's back entrance.

There were no Negroes on any major league baseball team and no Negro swimmers. This was of course in the so-called enlightened north. In the southern states there was no possibility of a Negro being allowed to participate in any sport unless he competed solely with other Negroes.

OWENS IDOLISED IN NAZI GERMANY

THE HITLER SNUB MYTH

One of many common myths invented and re-cycled by cretinous self-hating journalists is that at the 'Nazi Olympics', the German leader snubbed Jesse Owens by refusing to shake his hand. The reality is far different.

Hitler on the first day of the Berlin Olympics did indeed shake the hands of several successful competitors from Germany and Finland. It was a mistake made in good faith. That evening the German Chancellor received a message from Count Baillet-Latour, President of the International Olympic Committee. It was respectfully pointed out to the German Leader that as protocol required he was merely a guest of honour at the Games, he should congratulate all - or none, in public at least.

Adolf Hitler, in common with all other national leaders chose the latter as being the most sensible course. With 156 gold medals being awarded at various locations and times, it was not physically possible to congratulate every winner. Jesse Owens was not personally congratulated by Adolf Hitler; nor were any of the other successful competitors, white or otherwise .... at the request of the President of the I.O.C.

REJECTED BY HIS OWN PRESIDENT

It is interesting to note however that Jesse Owens own President Roosevelt refused to honour or even meet him despite there being no such protocol restriction imposed upon him. But afterwards, Jesse Owens said of Adolf Hitler : "When I passed the Chancellor he arose, waved his hand at me, and I waved back at him. I think the writers showed bad taste in criticising the man of the hour in Germany."

OWENS IN RACIST RIP-OFF ENGLAND

Afterwards, Owens and his coach, Larry Snyder on arrival in London complained that they felt like 'trained seals'. They were subjected to a barrage of 'fraudulent publicity offers', so much so that they refused further engagements. Time proved Larry Snyder and Jesse Owens right. None of the offers came to anything but big name Jewish promoters like Eddy Cantor had received a great deal of favourable publicity.

TREATED LIKE A FREAK IN USA

Back home in the United States, Jesse Owens was treated like a freak and an animal. "Before curious crowds he raced horses (and won). He ran against cars, trucks, dogs, and baseball players with a head start." - Norman Katkov. Jesse Owens Revisited. The World of Sport, p.289.

His was a thirties America that had seen 26 lynchings - all Negroes; an America where Negroes had to use separate public toilets and public transport; went to all-black schools, and couldn't mix with white people in restaurants, cinemas, hotels, church, stadiums, etc. Hitler's Germany and the German people must have seemed very welcoming by contrast.

The "horror of the shrieking boys" gets a rubber stamp from the boot-licking U.S. Congress & Senate as America officially becomes a dictatorship. Slamming the final nail in the coffin of everything America used to stand for, the boot-licking U.S. Senate gave President Bush the legal authority to abduct and sexually mutilate American citizens and American children in the name of the war on terror.

There is nothing in the "detainee" legislation that protects American citizens from being kidnapped by their own government and tortured. We have established that the bill allows the President to define American citizens as enemy combatants. Now let's take it one step further.

Before this article is dismissed as another extremist hyperbolic rant, please take a few minutes out of your day to check for yourself the claim that Bush now has not only the legal authority but the active blessings of his own advisors to torture American children.

The backdrop of the Bush administration's push to obliterate the Geneva Conventions was encapsulated by John "torture" Yoo, professor of law at Berkeley, co-author of the PATRIOT Act, author of torture memos and White House advisor.

During a December 1st debate in Chicago with Notre Dame professor and international human rights scholar Doug Cassel, John Yoo gave the green light for the scope of torture to legally include sexual torture of infants.

Cassel: If the president deems that he's got to torture somebody, including by crushing the testicles of the person's child, there is no law that can stop him?

Yoo: No treaty.

Cassel: Also no law by Congress — that is what you wrote in the August 2002 memo…

Yoo: I think it depends on why the President thinks he needs to do that.

Ask yourself why they would be so careful to protect themselves from accusations of war crimes.

Could that possibly be because they are knowingly committing war crimes?

The legislating of torture itself should be a criminal act. All laws that contradict the U.S. Constitution are null and void. It was once a law that black people were slaves.

Only by engaging in civil disobedience and refusing to tolerate or acknowledge the laws of a criminal regime that has greased the skids for sexually torturing kids can we ever have a hope of returning America to its past glory.

BERLIN (IFPN) --- Germany's Central Council of Jews (ZJD) has demanded "immediate government action" in response to unsettling findings published in its quarterly social trends report, 'Virulent Anti Semitism In Germany Today, Issue 1, 2008'.

The report highlights a worrying increase in anti-Semitic sentiment and, more sensationally, the dissemination of holocaust denial "by means of telepathy".

"It's very frightening and something I cannot ignore given my horrific ordeal in Auschwitz, which I miraculously survived by hiding in a chimney until the camp was liberated," says the ZJD's president, Charlotte Knobloch, who is currently suing Google for editorial control of YouTube.

"Our own success in determining what constitutes suitable viewing for Internet users in Germany has forced us to imagine alternative scenarios available to young people who don't trust what the government or their teachers are telling them."

"Never underestimate the power of the Jewish imagination," she adds.

In Germany, anyone who expresses anti-Semitic sentiments or who queries the holocaust by pointing to credible pre-war and post-war Jewish population statistics or anomalies in the historical record faces prison sentences of up to five years.

The law, however, is unclear on the issue of telepathically communicated anti-Semitism and holocaust denial.

EXTREMISTS

"We know they're doing it," says Stephan Kramer, General Secretary of the ZJD. "They are evading punishment by spreading anti-Semitic propaganda and denying the holocaust without writing a word or moving their lips."

Although Kramer has dispatched an unspecified number of undercover Hassidic telepaths and kosher 'sensitives' briefed with the task of intercepting telepathic communications in streets, bars, clubs, restaurants, cafes, subways, shops, schools, workplaces and other venues where people may choose to express a personal opinion without being overheard by informers, he admits that telepathically communicated holocaust denial is hard to prove.

"But only empirically," he explains. "Proof is an obsession of those unable to conceive of the truth. In the wrong hands, proof, or a lack of proof, can be misused to establish certain facts incompatible with the truth. Not all facts are factual. What do you want? Another holocaust?"

The German government, anxious to reassure the Jewish community, has moved swiftly to calm fears by allocating six million euros in research grants to the ZJD's hospitality and personal leisure expenses budget.

"We are doing everything we can to eradicate the scourge of anti- Semitism in Germany and the European Union," a government spokesman told IFPN. "The government takes very seriously reports that certain extremist elements in our society are engaged in telepathic holocaust denial and we are monitoring the situation closely."

HUMILIATING

But official assurances came too late for Israeli tourists Shmuel Linsky and his wife, Diane.

"Just the other day I saw a very relaxed German couple with their children spending our reparations money on ice-cream and hot dogs," says Shmuel scornfully. "They were deliberately and maliciously acting in a way that suggested they were proud to be German, without any sense of shame or guilt. I suddenly felt very threatened by this kind of unspoken anti-Semitism and was overwhelmed by the urge to radio an Israeli F-16 fighter bomber."

Diane Linsky nods her head in pained agreement. They had decided on an impromptu vacation in Germany after watching Angela Merkel on television deliver an impassioned speech to Israel's parliament, the Knesset.

"Mrs Merkel said that Germans would do everything they could to help Israel and protect the Jewish people from anti-Semitism," she says, her voice cracking. "But when we got here we found we had to pay for our own hotel accommodation and none of the restaurants will let us eat for free, even though we're Jews and have a long and unique history of suffering."

Shmuel, too, is overcome by emotion, hardly able to speak. "It's been humiliating. Even the waiters expect a tip, reminding me of my horrific ordeal in Auschwitz, which I miraculously survived by hiding in a chimney until the camp was liberated," the 36-year-old Mr Linsky adds bitterly.

The Linskys say they had been made to feel "persecuted" and intend to file a claim for compensation. "In fact, we sued before we came out here," says Diane. "Our lawyer in Tel Aviv was offering special terms and a 30 percent discount."

PARANOID

Critics however have blasted the report as "hysterical", "irresponsible" and "paranoid".

"Given the long history of hereditary mental illness among people of Jewish descent, I would be inclined to treat reports of telepathically communicated anti-Semitism and holocaust denial with extreme caution," one of them, a leading professor of evolutionary psychiatry, told IFPN anonymously.

"The Jews have a propensity for telling tall stories and a tendency to exaggerate things they hear, or think they hear. Before taking this much further, the German government would be well-advised to read the wealth of medical literature made available over the past 200 years by Jewish physicians themselves, much of which focuses on the very high percentage of dangerous psychotic illnesses and psychopathological disorders found among Ashkenazi Jews. A good starting point would be the Disability Studies Quarterly, Volume 27, No. 4, published in 2007."

"Even their top religious people admit they're nuts. Rabbis Eric Weiss and Nathaniel Ezray have said that 'mental illness is a Jewish issue' and point to the findings of geneticists at John Hopkins University who have identified lamentably high incidences of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder among Ashkenazi Jews. Many suffer from an autosomal recessive trait that goes back thousands of years and which manifests as congenital lying, delusional behaviour and paranoia."

"Unfortunately, instead of being treated in high-security psychiatric hospitals, many of these mentally ill, psychopathic Jews seem to thrive in positions of leadership, spanning the worlds of international finance, the media, academia, law and politics, not only in Europe and Israel, of course, but also in North America and elsewhere."

"We need to ask ourselves why they've been expelled from 109 locations around the world since the middle of the third century, and why we're allowing them to repeat the cycle over and over again, harming not only themselves but everyone else."

"I know it's not a very politically correct thing to articulate," the professor concludes, "but when it comes to Jews and some of the ludicrous things they say, I'm afraid we're dealing with some very sick puppies."

Charlotte Knobloch strongly disagrees. Jews have never harmed anyone, she says. "The fact that the Jewish people have been expelled from 109 locations around the world doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the Jewish people or that they are in any way disruptive or insane," she insists. "On the contrary, all of those countries, for no real identifiable reason, experienced periods of anti-Semitic mass insanity, which spontaneously disappeared the moment we were gone."

SURVIVORS

Meanwhile, as news breaks that at least a hundred stone-throwing Palestinian children have been either killed or maimed by vigilant Israeli F-16 fighter pilots, the Linskys arrive back in Tel Aviv to an emotional family reception.

Shmuel's great uncle, Rabbi Dov Bronstein, hugs his relative and can hardly contain his tears: "Even though I was born and raised in New Jersey and never set foot in Europe, I will never forget my horrific ordeal in Auschwitz, which I miraculously survived by hiding in a chimney until the camp was liberated."

"It's so good to be home," says a visibly relieved Diane Linsky. "We flew Lufthansa and we just knew the German pilots and air hostesses were telepathically denying the holocaust and sharing anti-Semitic thoughts with some of the European passengers and they were saying, like, you know, 'Let's dump those lying Jews out over the Mediterranean'."

The German government has promised to investigate the allegations.
